Grandfather was downsizing his possessions and I snagged this from him a couple months back. I had the standard jewl case one with just the cds but this one is a digipack and comes with a pick with Henry on it and a badass poster. I’m gonna get a frame for it soon so it can hang on my wall proudly
I’m watching the Complete Masterworks 2 concert for the millionth time and once again was intrigued in the jersey that Lee had on. Does anybody know where I could find this if it was even for sale?
What is everybody’s first memory listening to this album?
My uncle had given me all of the Ozzy era cds when I was a kid. One day, when I was 13, I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t go back to sleep. I saw the Master of Reality cd on my dresser so I said fuck it. I’ll check this album out. I had seen online that it was the biggest influence for doom metal, so I was curious to see what it sounded like. I threw on my headphones, put the disc into my dad’s cd old cd player, and cranked the volume.
It blew me away. In 35 minutes, my 13 year old ass was taken on a journey I’ve only been on a few more times since. The tone that Geezer discovered, the riffs that Tony came up with, the drum parts that Bill layered on top of each other, and Ozzys dragging voice filled with sorrow and dread opened my world up to something I could never have imagined. This shit was incredible. Children of the grave, solitude, and into the void were the major stand outs to me and are still some of my favorite songs of all time
I plan on swapping the stock double din head unit out of my 2020 SR5 for a single din head unit. The giant screen is too much for my taste and I like being able to play cds while I drive. I did some research and both Pioneer and Best Buy say that the DEH-S4220BT can fit in with a cubby below it. Has anybody DOWNGRADED their stereo heads or am I one of the few?
I have a 2020 SR5 and I want to be able to use a cd player and my iPod to listen to my music but Toyota stopped putting the aux port in the 4Runner I believe in 2020. Does anybody have any replacement ports that I can put in place of the usb slot or something similar? Thank you
