So, by now we all know Ian McKellen has spoiled the fact that Magneto destroys New Jersey. But why? Well, the following theory contains half-assed evidence and guesses based on rumors.

My theory is that the destroyed city we see in the trailer isn't Tobey's universe, or even New York at all - it's New Jersey. Now, whether or not the scene is geographically accurate to NJ is up for debate. But what reason will Magneto have to destroy New Jersey, if he's supposedly fighting alongside the X-Men and Avengers to salvage his universe? I think the destruction to the city is not something he's going to do - it's something he's already done.

According to one rumor, when Reed and some of the Avengers go to the X-Men universe, Yelena brings Bob along, which connects to yet another rumor. One I have my fingers crossed for. Supposedly, Professor X will fight the Void, and this would be the reason he, Bob and Magneto are absent from the Sentinel fight. But whilst the Void is unleashed, perhaps Magneto would see one of his darkest days; a time where his hatred for humanity and their bigotry towards mutantkind led to him destroying one of their cities in a blind rage. According to McKellen himself, the Russos directed him in one scene to look as though he hates what he's destroying. And what is it Magneto hates most?

Again, my theory is based on rumors I've heard, so take my idea with a grain of salt.

TLDR: Sentry joins the others in traveling to the X-Men universe, the Void is accidentally released, and while caught up in one of the Void's shame rooms, Magneto sees himself destroying New Jersey.

Obviously he was proven human by the blood test, but if he had in fact kept his cool a little longer and proved his innocence while alive, do you think an extra set of hands would have changed anything? Would he have stayed with Childs to watch for Blair? Would they both go out after him? This scenario has been eating away at me for a while now and I'd love to hear an opinion on it.

Maynard mentions "Russell's old room" and no further context is given. I hate beyond words the theory that Russell was a former victim, because Zed & Maynard don't seem like the type of guys who care about their victims enough to learn their names. Was it before, during, or after ejaculation that Zed planned to shake Marsellus' hog tied hand, introduce himself as Zed, and ask Mr. Wallace his name?

I personally like to think Russell is an accomplice of theirs who is doing time somewhere, or maybe a second cousin or something who used to hang out there. Idk. I just don't think Russell was a former captive of theirs. Who do you think he was?

Probably a stupid question, but something I've been curious about for a while. IDK but if I had to flip over a table, yell at the top of my lungs, and threaten someone with gun violence to get a simple answer, I'd be ticked off too.

At the ending of Multiverse of Madness, Clea goes to Strange and says that he caused and incursion but they can fix it. Now, if there's a way to fix incursions, the universes in Doomsday would have no reason to blow each other up in order to ensure their own survival, right? Wrong!

It's been made evident that Doom will have some followers in Doomsday, and when you couple that with the fact that Benedict Cumberbatch is going to be in Doomsday (weird that he wasn't a part of the chairs thing), it adds a little context to my theory. What if Clea is already a part of some sect that Doom has created, and she has recruited Doctor Strange to join their cause and help Doom create Battleworld. By the time Doomsday rolls around, she may have convinced Strange that joining Doom and destroying the Multiverse is the only way to "fix it," hence why I think we may see him become Doom's sheriff on Battleworld as he was in the comics.

What are your thoughts on this? Am I off at all?
