On average, how many stalls do you have check before you find a toilet that meets your standards?

For me in Melbourne, it averages out to about 3. Rarely are they catastrophic but I don't want there to be pee on the seat or too much paper/fluids on the floor.

Recommendations for spooky places to camp in Melbourne please

Me and my friend want to camp out somewhere creepy somewhere around Melbourne. Can anyone suggest a good place where we can set up a few tents, preferably abandoned places but very open to suggestions!

People who are agnostic, why do you think Christian artifacts and verses work on spirits?

I was raised Christian but am agnostic. I don't personally believe in Christianity but for whatever reason it seems to be very effective against ghosts in encounters I've heard. Holy water, crucifixs and bible verses all seem to help a spirit leave or subside.

Personally I wonder if it's the belief behind those things, but I'm having a hard time making that make sense.

I'd love to hear people's theories and beliefs on the matter, whether you agree or not

Has anyone had paranormal experiences in the jungle or wilderness?

I am fascinated with the culture of jungle spirits and had my own experience in Borneo around 13 years ago. Our jungle guides were deeply superstitious about jungle spirits and insisted we treat the jungle with the upmost respect.

One night I woke up to find everyone in our group getting out of their hammocks and walking to our fire pit. I checked my digital watch to see the time but it had reset and was flashing 12:00. I was exhausted and went back to sleep, assuming someone would wake me if it was something important. When I woke up in the morning everyone was back sleeping in their hammocks and my watch was still flashing 12:00. I brought it up over breakfast and the group brushed it off as a dream - until one other group member said they saw the same thing. He said everyone got up and walked to the fire.

Very eerie and I don't have a good explanation for it. Has anyone else had a strange or supernatural experience in the jungle or wilderness?

Netflix has no way to opt out of gambling adverts, is this illegal?

I am an ex gambling addict and have struggled with being shown gambling adverts constantly. I report them each time but it doesn't reduce the amount of advertising. I have spoken to customer support 3 times and they've told me each time to keep reporting them.

I then spoke on the phone to customer support and they admitted the adverts are random and reporting them does nothing. I feel uncomfortable paying more money just to not be shown them and from what I understand the ACMA legally requires companies to allow customers to opt-out of gambling advertising.

Does anyone know if they are actually legally obligated to protect their customers in this way or if they're so big they get away with it?

I'm so fed up and frustrated

Anyone else had Spotify continue to charge them after they are sure they cancelled their membership?

I took on the free Premium subscription for 3 months in November last year. Midway through January I decided to cancel the free trial because the music selection wasn't as good as YTM and the podcasts still have ads.

I'm certain I cancelled that subscription but I checked today and Spotify have been charging me monthly since March.

I don't have an email confirming it, but I'm damn sure I cancelled. Had anyone else had this experience? I'm wondering if perhaps the unsubscribe process was just too confusing and I missed some tiny tick box somewhere

Why don't I get bitten by midgies?

Me and some friends were clearing out some weeds on my mates property in Apollo Bay. The 3 guys kept complaining about getting bitten by flies. I didn't say anything at the time but I didn't get a single bite. Perhaps hormones or something?

I'm interested in hearing any theories
