Has anyone hear of Type 2 Inflammation? Any experience?

Hi all --

I saw a post from Allergy & Asthma Network that this week is Type 2 Inflammation Awareness Week. I would love to hear some insights if any of you have dealt with this? Multiple conditions caused by one underlying issue - the type 2 inflammation?

I read that there are therapies that can work to target that root cause such as biologic meds. Is this true? There is a ton of helpful info from Allergy & Asthma Network: https://allergyasthmanetwork.org/news/type-2-inflammation-awareness-week/

Anaphylaxis in Infants Looks Different Than in Adults!!

Infants can’t tell us when something is wrong, which makes recognizing anaphylaxis even more critical.
🚨Signs of infant anaphylaxis may include:
👶 Hives, rash, or swelling (especially lips/face)
😮‍💨 Coughing, wheezing, or trouble breathing
🤢 Vomiting or diarrhea
😢 Sudden fussiness, fatigue, or behavior changes
🔵 Pale, blue, or gray skin color

Symptoms can happen quickly and may affect more than one part of the body. If you suspect anaphylaxis, act fast…. epinephrine first, epinephrine fast.
