1995 story line

Just finished watching the 1995 story line.

Seeing as how this story line directly followed the parallel time story line and they went direct from parallel time to the 1995 story line, these thoughts occurred to me:

How do they know that the 1995 story line is the future of the main time line?

How do they know it's not the future of the parallel time line?

How do they know that they are back in their own main time line?

What's to say that they're not passing between times like on "Sliders" and can't get back to their own main time line?

How do you keep the suede leather clean and looking good?

I see from many of the posts on here that people are buying and wearing 99x shoes. Many of these New Balance styles as well as others in their line, have suede leather, which brings me to my question. How do you keep the suede leather clean and looking good?

How to occupy time?

I'm in the later part of my sixties. Being as old as I am, naturally I don't move as fast as I used to or be able to do as much as I used to. I also have pretty bad eyesight (probably cataracts). I reached the point where I don't know what to do to occupy my time. The only thing I can come up with is housework, yard work, and things of that nature which I'm rather slow at and also find tiring. I spend my time wishing it would be later so I could go to bed, since it's the only time I'm not worrying about things or trying to figure out what I can do next with my old tired self. Any ideas?

What happened to 1 pound dry cat food

I remember back in the 70s, 80s and possibly the 90s getting dry cat food in 1 pound boxes. We would frequently get 2 or 3 different brands and varieties so the cat would have variety in what they ate. Or when they decided they didn't want to eat XYZ we'd switch it up to ABC, etc. We now have an almost 16-year old who from time to time decides that he doesn't particularly care for this particular 7 pound bag of Iams that we have and we're basically forced to give it to him until it's gone due to the high cost of cat food now-a-days. This brings me to the point of this post, what happened to 1 pound boxes of dry cat food? Other than Fancy Feast dry, (which is ridiculously priced, IMHO) nary a one can be found.

I was talking to a neighbor and mentioned that I was thinking of getting a pair of Chuck high tops, and he gave me a surprised look (I'm a guy), and said "Really, aren't those chick shoes?" I said that they were unisex and he replied "Okay" but didn't seem to be convinced. So, are Chucks considered "chick" shoes?

I set up a new account on Converse.com earlier this evening. I received the welcome message, but haven't received the promo code(s) they promised to send. Any idea how long it takes for the code(s) to show up? Thanks.

Update: 24 hours later and still no promo codes.

We've been watching Dark Shadows from the beginning and are now up to the Parallel Time 1970 story line. We finished episode 1104 1004 today and both of us are really disliking this story line. We find it to be too much soap opera and not enough Dark Shadows. We know most of the regular cast were busy making the movie, but man this story line is boring. Not even David Selby and Laura Parker seem to be able to make it interesting. Just our 2¢. What does everyone else think of the Parallel Time 1970 story line?
