Marketing wellness retreats
I started a carnivore retreat business and now that everything is finally ready I realized I have absolutely no idea how to market this thing properly.
The first retreat is on July 24th so part of me feels like I still have time, but another part of me feels like July is tomorrow and I’m wasting time staring at my laptop not knowing what to do.
The retreat itself is pretty niche. It’s focused around the carnivore diet and teaches people the basics, adaptation, mistakes people make, lifestyle side of it etc. So because it’s such a specific niche I thought influencer marketing would probably be the best option.
The deal I offered creators was:
15% commission on bookings
10% discount for their followers
include their content in our educational materials and promote their (if) payed community.
Only one of them replied. She didn’t really comment on the offer itself, but said she’d want to come experience the retreat in person first, and if I can cover the costs. (I just wanna be influencer at this point) The issue is that she’s based in the US while the retreat is in the Netherlands, so covering flights and travel expenses would be a huge cost for a business that’s literally just getting started.
Also, I needed to find guest through her. now If I can’t do it somehow else there is not gonna be any retreat for her to attend, literally:d
The retreats are €1098–1398 so I didn’t think that my offer was terrible, but now I’m second guessing everything.
I guess I’m mainly asking:
how would you market something this niche if you were starting from zero?
Are influencers still the best route?
was my offer too weak?
what to offer to not get ignored by 99% of them?
