A lot of women don’t realise what they experienced even has a name.

I have created a private support group where people can talk anonymously, share experiences, ask questions, and support each other without judgement.

Investigating experiences of accessing care to end a pregnancy in rural and remote Australia.

We are currently recruiting Australian females aged 18 and older living in rural or remote communities for a virtual interview study.

Our research will help improve understanding of how people in rural and remote areas access care to end a pregnancy, and will inform clinical practice guidelines and support for people seeking this care.

Who can participate?

• Aged 18 years or older
• Live in a rural or remote community in Australia, away from emergency services
• Have ended or considered ending a pregnancy
• Comfortable reading and speaking English

What will you do?

• Participate in a one-off 60-minute virtual interview at a time that suits you

Your privacy

• All responses are confidential
• Participation is completely voluntary
• You can withdraw at any time

You will receive a $50 e-gift card as thanks for your participation.

This project has ethics approval from the Monash University Human Research Ethics Committee (Project ID: 46591).
