Is there a a plug in that exists?
I have a bunch of transitions, overlays, film grain etc.
Is there a way to have that within FCP? Instead of having to dig thru finder every time.
I have SFX that I can import into the sfx library. Is there such thing for videos?

I bought a new MacBook reupped on all the plugins, plug ins I bought and all the fonts are missing. Is there a way I can find the stock fonts for the plug ins? As you can see every title reverts to helvética, call me an idiot but I like previewing the titles with its own fonts. Now it’s useless when it displays everything in helvética.
Also mkodakframe doesn’t even work on this m5.
Any work arounds? Maybe some one has these plug ins that can help me out. Thanks.
Am I the only one who was not that wowed by the FX5?
I want to start off by saying I’m a “SONY FANBOY” (pause) but man I was not wowed. Like i went into it like man this it and then booom total let down. Open gate is hella overrated maybe for some is good but for me it’s meh. 32 but float need the handle.
When the red Komodo x came out I WAS WOWED. and to me the red Komodo x for 2k more I would rather have that. And deal with out the auto focus.
There’s just other cameras with better picture and at the end of the day that’s all I care for. Sure I can appreciate other features but ultimately it’s the picture, for 5k to me there’s better cameras out there and it pains me to say it.

I am looking to get new lights maybe 2-4. I wanna be able to get small portable lights 60w to 120w range.
Wha do you guys use to light dark receptions or dark rooms for prep shots?
Also is it typical for folks to run lights at full blast during reception dances and speeches?
Here is my criteria: I would love for lights to have internal battery, but not a deal breaker. I would like for it to be dc over usb c due to usb charging you need the high watt cable and charging black. But if people have success with that please let me know. Other option is I’d prefer v mount over npf.
For the longest I’ve plugged in light into power but putting the light according to outlet sucks sometimes. So I’m looking to do battery powered light either internal or external. But scared of it dying mid speech.
What lights are you guys rocking? And are you running it full blast? How long are these lights lasting you?
Anybody have a stream deck that’s uses it with Final Cut Pro? Is it worth it? How’s the color grading with it?
I work with 6k r3d files and heavy color grading and effects in Final Cut Pro for full length wedding films 45 min -90 min long projects.
I wanted to go 128gb ram but would have to wait till July.
Mac Studio was an option but had to wait till October.
M5 ultra another option but that would probably be till
October as well.
Did I make the right choice???? Or would 128gb should have been the move?
I was previously using an m3 max 36gb ram 1tb before.
So when I go to purchase a new computer I tend to look at the video and editing portion of the video. I can care less about geek bench tests and others. But man oh man. WHY THE HELL DO THESE PEOPLE USE THE EXPORT TIME AS A LITMUS TEST OF THE VIDEO EDITING????? The most important part is scrubbing through a timeline over laying clips and color grading clips on top of clips. Like wtf???? I can careless how long it takes to export compared to what I just mentioned. Okay I’m done.
I lost my case but still have my transmitter and 2 mics for my dji mic 3 luckily. Can I still recover my audio by getting another set and paring them?
