Hi Y'all,

I went to access the NAS this afternoon and after trying to connect I kept getting errors. investigating it further I found that the NAS wasn't powered. I tried pressing the button to turn it on and zip. I tried different outlets and different AC adapters and nothing. The NAS was working Monday, and has been plugged into a UPS with USB since I got it so I don't know what the cause may be. I've already reached out to support for assistance. Has anyone experienced this before?

I was looking for a cheaper 4 bay NAS solution for my remote backup NAS and I wanted to see what the cost of the standard 4800 would be opposed to my 4800 plus… I don’t see it anymore? I could’ve sworn there was a 4800 and 4800 plus but now I just see 4800 plus and 4800 pro.. was there ever a non plus or pro? Did they discontinue it?

Hi y’all! I’m entering my third year into wedding photography and looking to really sweeten the pot of what my packages offer in addition to photos. I’m looking to add some custom or special surprise items to bring home the experience for my couples. Ie, for proposals I gift a bottle of champagne in a chest from hobby lobby and a personalized congratulations.

I’m thinking about surprising couple that hire me for packages with two photogs, with a plain and simple ceremony video using one of my early cameras. I’d ask if they have a videographer for the day during the check in with them the week before, and if they consent to have some videos taken for social media. If the cards align, I’m thinking about doing a simple basic ceremony video with an entry level camera and field mics / recorders and present it as a gift.

My question to the fellow wedding photogs out here, does this sound like too much or like a bad idea? I feel like it sounds good on paper but maybe it’s not the right play to make? I feel like it would be a nice surprise for clients as they would get to look back years later and reminisce the moment they thought they’d only get to see once. Thoughts?

So I just woke up from a dream where I was tasked with improving Gilead without going too far or radical… for a country that doesn’t let women read… I don’t think I’m creative enough to do that lol. But it got me thinking of Lawrence and his Nee Bethlehem project. I don’t think j we ever got a proper location besides somewhere northeast around Boston.. but there were lots of people who “returned” / came to New Bethlehem.. I’m wondering if there was any mention to its outcome in or after the war of Massachusetts and if it remains under Gilead or US? Thanks a ton!
