Pain and Thc/cbd

I had an ischemic stroke 17 months ago and have 24/7 right side pain that has badly changed my quality of life. after trying 5-6 off label drugs like gabapentin, nortriptyline, cymbalta, etc. I’ve had no relief.

im in my 60s. I remember smoking weed in my teens. I FELT NO PAIN! Haha.

im ready to try something, cannabis, gummies, thc, cbd, whatever. I’ve read through a number of posts but don’t see much specifically that addresses what kind of approach to take. help?

Takedown requests are hell.

so frustrating. tried to take down a release 46 days ago. it got zapped from all streamers except Apple Music within an hour. after 30 days still on Apple. request that CDBaby once again ask for it to be taken down and told to wait another 30 days to follow-up.

my guess is it won’t have worked again.

Taper

I was only on 30 mg for about 35 days, and when I decided to get off, I had no idea how difficult the taper would be. I’ve been counting pellets inside my capsules, and after two days on 25 mg, I started to get these electrical pins and needles in both forearms. Reading online suggest they might be another version of the so-called , one of the more common withdrawal symptoms. I simply can’t get it in my head that going mg to 25 mg has already started me on withdrawal problems.

By the way, my Physiatrist who prescribed my initial tapering told me simply to start taking 30 mg every second day, but that ended up creating major migraines, and even some urinary incontinence, something I’ve never had in my entire life. So that system is not gonna work for me.

I’m sharing my story in case anyone hears something that makes their own.

Starting taper: 5 weeks on 30mg

I started 30mg about 5 weeks ago for post stroke pain. Cymbalta is about 5th med I’ve tried and in addition to doing nothing positive, about 1-2 hours after I take it I get an altered feeling and goosebumps on my arms.

I have messages into my PCP and physiatrist about tapering but wanted to reach out here. my capsules all seem to have 6 pellets.

what have you tried in tapering and what do you think I face?

Glutened Myself TWICE

I went about 13 years without a single gluten mistake now I’ve glutened myself twice in two months, once with Applegate’s normal chicken tenders and once with Barilla’s normal Penne. Careless. Dumb. I’ve been reading packages faithfully for more than a decade, and these two events were 100% my fault.

Vomiting, diarrhea, fainting, moaning and praying for death. Just two of the worst experiences of my life, AND I‘VE SURVIVED A STROKE.
