I have my G2 test next week, and I feel pretty confident about my driving. But I have two questions based on some posts I've seen here.

1. My instructor said I don't have to scan every intersection if it's a green light. Only when stopped I should look before going. But he also told me to always make it seem that I'm looking around and move my head and check mirrors every 10-15 seconds​​.

Shouldn't I be looking at all intersections?

2. When turning right on a red light you make a full stop behind the line. Then move up a bit and make another full stop.

Is the second stop necessary if I can already see?

In Islam a Wali must always be present when meeting with a potential.

How are we suppose know how the person will actually be like after marriage? Like when a Wali is there everyone will be professional and on their best behavior.

The reason I'm asking this is because with most people I'm extremely quiet and don't talk much. But in private I'm the yappiest person ever, the complete opposite of what I appear to be.

Do I just ask​​​ and trust that she's telling the truth? Or is there another way to find out.

Is it okay to be more open while a wali is present or does that turn out badly? Like do they see it as childish, and would they prefer the man to be more mature?

Why is the main mod of this subreddit also a mod of a Pakistani ex Muslim dating sub? Makes you wonder what their intentions are...

As salamu alaykum, I was wondering if these dealbreakers are reasonable as someone living in the west.

1. Doesn't pray 5 times a day on time, give zakah if she has to, fast all of Ramadan, or read the Quran often.
2. Doesn't wear the hijab and dress modestly.
3. Is not Sunni and does not follow the Qur'an and Sunnah (Hadith rejectors, Visits shrines, Makes dua to other than Allah, Shia etc.)
4. Physical past, drinking or drugs currently or in the past.
5. Left Islam in the past and came back.
6. Has opposite gender friends, mixes with the opposite gender.
7. Listens to music, follows bands etc.
8. Posts herself on social media, having an account is fine.
9. Prioritizes her job over the home. She can work before kids, but should stop working full time after kids. No daycare.
10. Believes in buying a house on a riba mortgage (I live in an expensive city and a lot of people do it sadly).​

I was wondering what's the best time to tell a potential your salary? In the past I was very hesitant on revealing it early on, ​because they might be only be marrying me because of it​.

But the thing is once they know your job they can just check glassdoor ​or levels.fyi for an estimate. So what's the point of hiding it? Or is it best to not say it at all and just tell them the lifestyle you can provide?​
