PSA to Arrowhead: Most of your HD2 customers will NOT buy your next game if you keep treating HD2 as a "side project".

PSA to Arrowhead: Most of your HD2 customers will NOT buy your next game if you keep treating HD2 as a "side project".

The title mostly speaks for itself.

- Infrequent Game Balancing

- Not Enough Bug Fixing

- Subversion of Expectations

- Undocumented Changes

- Not Learning from Past Mistakes

- Ignoring Player Requests

- Reinforcing Toxic Positivity

- Poor Data Management (File Size, Things to Datamine, etc)

- Repeated Hardware Issues for Users

- Promotion of Fomo tactics when its deemed "appropriate"

- Lying/Gaslighting

- Difficulty levels unbalanced

And we could say more.

For the past 3 years now, this is an incomplete list of what over half of your customers have seen.

We are not on the road to "Being like a FromSoftware game"

I have read hundreds of comments about how people will actively avoid buying your next game, quit this game, or avoid spending money on this game because of your studios decisions.

Most of us feel like we arent being heard, actively ignored, or your focus is no longer Helldivers 2

Alot of are more sad than we are upset. We have watched you take a game that had more potential than any we had seen in a decade, and squander it. Poor decisions on top of poor decisions over and over again.

This is the crowd that review bombed you enough to start the latest change. Its the same crowd that wont show up to buy your next game if you choose to keep going down the path you've been going on for the last 3 years.

Regardless of how many upvotes or downvotes this post gets, it is the truth you need to hear. We all hope you do something with this info instead of ignoring it like you have on many other things.

Do you want to fix things and make us happy again?

  1. Be COMPLETELY honest, no more lying

  2. Be COMPLETELY transparent, no more Undocumented Changes. Even if you think we will hate them.

  3. Show INTREST in what your community wants. We've been asking for customization since launch as an example.

  4. Take the TIME to go back through old warbonds and balance them. Yes it doesnt make you money right now, but making them work for future releases makes you consistent returns on new players.

  5. PLAYTEST your game before you update it. Were tired of being forced beta testers, crashing and dealing with unfair mechanics.

  6. LAUNCH a beta test for those of us who do want to help out. We all shouldn't be subject to it if we dont wsnt to be.

  7. Add MEANINGFUL PROGRESSION for us to chase. Extra levels and titles dont mean much to us, we just equip warbond titles anyway.

  8. Reach out to community modders for HELP with the games problems. Take a look at say CGW, or even the guys actively cheating. They are fixing some of the games problems with simple toggles or remixing of content.

  9. Do a DEEP DIVE into WHY specific glitches and crashes keep happening across updates. They shouldnt be returning once you fix them.

  10. Do a THOROUGH look into how/what enemies spawn on multiple difficulties. 7-10 shouldnt all feel the same.

  11. Look DEEP INTO what enemies the player base overwhelmingly doesnt like, and look at thier suggestions. The war strider comes to mind.

  12. Lastly, and more importantly, pull thr focus toward the PLAYERS HAVING FUN. I understand we can be hard to deal with, and sometimes you wsnt to take that frustration out on us... but we are your customers. WE are what make your games profitable, and continue to be sold. If you keep catering toward this "small niche audience" idea, you will eventually be insolvent as a buisness. Do not let the arrogance of looking down from your golden tower replace your fear of being one of the peasants again. The day you give into that, is the day you have already fallen.

*to my fellow redditors*:

Alright guys, lets see the comments. If you've got something to flame me with lets get it. If not, lets see those likes so somebody actually reads this.

Is anybody else upset the art direction on everything other than the weapons in the 40k warbond is terrible?

If you watch the trailer, they went out of thier way to keep everything shown in dark lighting to hide the colors on everything.

The armors look plasticy and unfinished. They do not look grimdark or wartorn whatsoever.

Theres no full imperial aquillas, purity seals, or any other warhammer specific design flairs anywhere on anything in the warbond. The only thing close is the shoulder pads and helmets. Anything else could of been generic helldivers gear.

The banners and vehicle skins are monotone color swaths with no gradients or iconography.

It looks like we go Gi Joe's action figures from the 60s rather than warhammer content.

Really hope these next two weeks are them cleaning up the art design.

PSA: *Potential Spoilers* What to Expect from WH40K Warbond

Hey Guys,

Ive seen alot of comments going around about what we think will/wont be in the new WH40k Warbond, so I wanted to share all the information we have this far.

Be warned this is potentially a spoiler if it turns out to be true.

Attached above are images of the close ups of models being painted in the original announcement, the hand and bolter from the second announcement, and some other included imagery to back it up.

Right now, the info we have HEAVILY leans toward a Karaskin Kill team, which is a cadian kill team unit.

Youll notice the three circled models match what they have been painting, and thier arm guards also match the trailer.

The specific items the 3 shown models were holding is as follows;

A Medium Armor (Looks like standard issue guard gear)

A Heavy Armor (Bomb unit/sergent)

A Las Hot Shot Rifle (cloaked mini)

A Melta Gun

A Melta Mine (sergent)

A Las Pistol (sergant)

The Sergant kit also comes with an optional swap out from the Las Pistol to Bolt Pistol.

These so far are the most likely weapons/armors we will get, which may or may not include the backpacks the minis have.

We typically always recieve vehicle/Pod skins as well, so its safe to assume a form of green skin with a gold imperial aquilla somewhere on it.

Additionally we could recieve any combination of weapons from this mini box, even though we were shown these specific ones in the teasers.

We are most likely NOT receiving Space Marines as the previously posted by Arrowhead image: "where do you draw the line" shows space marines past the line. Meaning the studio considers them a step too far.

Lastly, we have NEVER received Super Store content with a legendary warbond. There are no leaks/hints to suggest we will.

However IF we do, it will most likely either be Eylisians as they are known as literal helldivers in Warhammer lore and are posted in the official image or Kreigsman as they are the overwhelming fan favorite and have been in fan artwork/comics since near the beginning of the games launch.

The likelihood we will recieve anything like the Tempestus Scions, Lucifer Blacks, Mordian Guard, etc are very slim to none. I am not saying this to be a downer, just to brace everyone for what we may/may not see.

Looking forward to the 30th with everyone, and hopefully ive helped you guys get an idea of what to expect. Dont believe me? Check out the trailers for yourself and see.

Have a good one guys.

Economy? Let us trade!

So if we now have an economy, great!

When can I trade super credits to my friends for samples, req slips, medals, leveled up guns, event cosemtic items, or event progression item unlocks?

Come on AH, lets see the goods.

If youre gonna take away spawning for the "health of the economy" lets have an economy, yeah?

[How it would work:

The proposed system would allow you to trade any of the following to other players;

  • Event Cosmetics
  • Event Progression Unlocks
  • Max level guns (swaps your level for thiers)
  • Medals
  • Samples
  • Req Slips
  • And finally, PURCHASED Super Credits (not spawned/grinded - anythinf else would lead to rampant abuse)

This would also unironically help some players new players with progression, and help cosmetics move around some.

Win on all fronts.]

Hey Guys, We Might Want to Dive on Genesis Prime

I know we should theoretically should have one more MO to go that will make or break the current Galatic Campaign, but im curious what happens if we win 2/3 early.

Do we just win? Do we still have to do one more? Do we get the reward early? Lot of questions id like to see answered if we win.

In other words; DIVE DIVE DIVE! WE CAN STILL WIN THIS!

What kind of diver are you?

Wanted to post something different today.

Im so used to seeing posts about what we like or hate all over.

This time I wanted to do something different and ask you all three questions;

  1. What kind of diver are you? Favorite loadout/faction?

  2. What brings you to the Unfiltered Subreddit?

  3. What drives your time investment on reddit? I see some many of us get roasted by how much time we spend on here, but I wanted to get a snapshot of "why" we do specifically.

Curious to see what everyone's stories are in the community and get a broader understanding of us as a whole. Post your replies below!

PSA: FOMO Complete Defintion - Fear of Missing Out

I see alot of people throwing out thier specific version of what FOMO is.

Sending this PSA to remind people the entire acronym is "Fear of Missing Out".

Theres no strings, clauses, or criteria to be met other than "Something you were afraid to miss out on"

If something is available for a limited time, its fomo. Thats it. You either like it or you hate it.

Lets all agree to stop adding layers to something that doesnt have layers.

PSA: Supply FRV is Only Unlocked for those who participated. To be available again for others "later"

The game itself does not tell you only those who participated get the Supply FRV. If you just started playing today, the recent major order messenge would not make sense to you.

Now even though we have a garuntee it will return later, this is still an act of fomo for specific players. Just like the first release of the killzone content.

Daily reminder to keep updating your negative reviews.

We didnt ask for fomo content. We asked for strategem events to return.

*please do not drag definitions of fomo around. This is literally limiting gameplay options for others. Just because it doesnt effect you, does not make it fair*

PSA: Most Enemy Weapons got an AP+1 Buff

Source:

Buzz Lightbeer

https://youtu.be/KcsrSLl8xkQ?is=vb3Gf9w6UABCwpX4

TL:DW; The majority of laser, rocket, grenade, plasma, and bile attacks got an armor penetration increase by 1 level

Melee attacks and small arms fire did not change from last patch.

What does this mean? It invalidates any mech/vehicle/sentry change that only increased an armor value by 1 when not facing voteless, small bugs, or troopers.

Your vehicles will be damaged in the exact same ways by medium and above enemy types.

Remember in the future, "Too Many Changes to List" means "Were not going to post that because the players will be mad"

Demand clear and complete patch notes from AH moving forward.

Even if you like the change, you deserve to know what it is when it launches.

Upvote if you want to keep this in our arsenal

Title says it all. Ive loved playing with this strategems both times its been out.

Ive realized thematically, even if a bit of balancing tweaking is need for this/other packs id love to keep it.

Its like the railgun is to the anti-material rifle. One is more dangerous with a high payoff, one is tactical with a consistent payoff.

Thats what this is comparing the dark fluid backpack to the jump backpack.

Even from a lore standpoint it makes sense for us to use this, given that the warp backpack uses the same technology.

Post all your thoughts below on why we should keep it, or how we can balance it/the other backpacks!
