Just wondering if theres anything I can do improve the fitment of this headlight. Number on the back of the unit is YHA-169 SAE M83 and as far as I know it came stock with the bike. Thank you.
Just a put in a charged battery and replaced the coils, leads and spark plugs. Bike still has no spark. Bike has compression, all electrics work and it cranks over.
Gravity fed carby as well.

Advice Needed.
Fixing up my first bike which was a Virago XV250. I can't part with due to sentimental reasons and it stopped working due to an unknown electrical issue. I found another Virago being sold for cheap that seemed to have an ignition coil issue. Unfortunetly it isn't that simple. Both bikes electricals have had work done/modifications made and I'm not an experienced mechanic or auto electrician. I'm wondering if I should just bite the bullet and track down an unmodified wiring harness/assembly and start from the ground up.
Tldr: both bikes have electrical issues and I am out of my depth. Wondering if I should buy a whole new wiring harness/assembly and start from the ground up.
