Cozy bedroom projector setup
Just finished sorting this out. Heavy curtains, soft light, and the projector on the far wall so we can watch stuff from bed. Nothing fancy, but it feels proper cosy now.

Need advice, is it worth upgrading from 1080p to 4K projector for a 120" setup?
I've been using a basic 1080p projector for a few years on a pull-down screen in my basement. Movies look decent but I'm thinking about going 4K.
The room is light-controlled and I sit about 12-15 feet away. Main use is movies and sports. I came across the Dangbei DBOX02 Pro and I'm wondering if the upgrade would be noticeable enough to justify spending around $800-1200 on something like that.
Any specific models people are happy with right now that aren't complete junk? Also worried about lamp life and replacement costs on these newer ones. Appreciate any real-user experiences.
