I hate how so many games end up being wiki games

Now mind you aside from lucid blocks I love the games themselves, however it is so annoying how nothing is explained and how everything is incredibly punishing, so it's basically impossible to figure anything out without going to a wiki to make sure you aren't going to fuck things up. Isaac is much better now because you can just turn on item descriptions but before then you had to look up what every item does so you don't ruin a run or just memorize everything, and for Don't Starve they added the scrapbook in the sequel, but it only tells you stats for stuff and isn't too useful. I do get that these games are supposed to be difficult, but they could at least find a balance where you aren't encouraged to spoil yourself with the internet while still being tough

I tried making captain Prices, based on his appearance in "Clean house" [CoD:MW]

It's not perfect. The gun isn't the right model, the sights and laser are larger than in CoD, the pants should be slightly more light gray, the only vest with straps on the sides has that weird back thing (hence two different vests), and the halligan bar is on the left instead of right when you go. But I think this is as close as you can get. Reference pictures in the replies

Diplomacy focused RTS? (No Crusader Kings or Total War)

Pretty much all RTS revolves around war, even those with detailed diplomacy or trade or other, will usually center around conflict. CK2 has been fulfilling my subterfuge and statecraft fix for a few years now. But variety is the spice of life and so I'm looking for something else

3rd armored question - m2a1 Bradley vs m2a2 Bradley

They're really similar and I have a hard time choosing between them. Currently I have 3 squads of vet 2 Fire team (dragon) serving as basically just a Bradley delivery system, for a total of 9 vet 2 m2a2s.

If I replaced them with Fire team (law), I would get 12 Bradleys for 20 point cheaper each. But I would also lose 2 front armor, 1 side armor, and 1 pen against ERA. Also worse infantry but again I am mainly concerned with the IFVs.

So how significant are those drawbacks?

Random beginner questions I have

How do I use arty if enemies never stand still for more than 5 seconds?

How is vehicle damage calculated? Tank and anti-tank weapons tend to do 1 HE damage and vehicles, even cheap transports usually have 4-10 HP or Max Damage, but I don't need 10 TOWs to kill a T-80 so 1 HE damage clearly doesn't translate to 1 actual damage.

Is there any point in short machine gun/sub-machine gun infantry (range 500m)? I just almost never have fights take place so up close.

What makes a good fighter plane? Actually I could probably extend this question to every unit type but let's keep it limited to fighters for now.

How do I kill enemy aa so they stop obliterating all my helos? Related, how come my SEAD planes don't do shit?

Considering purchase, can someone explain to me what the DLC categories are?

The DLC in the store-page seem to be divided into RP, nemesis, and capital letter DLC, but what are the differences between them and are there any "necessary" DLC I should get?
