I just graduated with my Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Dietetics in Ontario, Canada and about 18 months from now I will be a fully qualified Registered Dietitian. Visa is not an issue for me - I also hold Australian citizenship and I have always hoped to be able to work and live in Australia for a few years after finishing my education, as that’s where my family all are.
Aussie dietitians, especially entry level - what are your job prospects like? Was it easy for you to get into the field? Would I be likely to find work?
I would most likely be looking at living in Melbourne, but second option would be Southern QLD/northern NSW. Thanks!
Sorry if this is a dumb question. If my graduation status on Student Centre says “Program Complete,” is that what I’m looking for when submitting a final transcript to my grad school that requires it to state that my degree was awarded? Or do I have to wait until convocation has actually passed?
