Kirby’s game is so overhated

Killing Kween first (RIP Diva 🥀) was a great move for her game. I fully believe Kween heard the tap on Kirby’s leather jacket, but the fact that Kirby wasn’t publicly aware of the suspicion gives her almost an alibi, because there is the perceived absence of a motive from her POV (as a faithful ✌️) which makes it look like she is being framed.

Henry torpedoed his own game coming after her and the twins, and Kirby deflected incredibly well. The lie about Manaaki telling her the next day was quick thinking and was passed off well. Henry also going after the twins led to LSD voting him out at the third banishment, and I actually think the twins will take more blowback for that than Kirby will.

Kirby is insulated amongst bigger targets in Dicko and the twins, and I don’t see her being eliminated in the next two episodes at least.

What the FUCK was the end of 6B?

You’re telling me we see Stiles seeing the FBI tracking Derek at the start of 6B with no payoff until the final two episodes?

You’re telling me we see Ethan and Jackson get taken by hunters just after halfway through the season with no payoff until the finale?

You’re telling me we see Kate randomly appear as an FBI agent in the pre-finale episode where she randomly takes yellow wolfsbane and gives it to Gerard, then she gets shot with said wolfsbane by Gerard the VERY NEXT time we see her?

Then Deucalion dies within the first 5 minutes of the finale and Kate and Gerard kill each other at the end? Deucalion deserved to kill Gerard!

Derek, Stiles, Jackson, and Ethan randomly show up like once before the finale, then return, but we get no Isaac, Kira, or Hayden?

We see Theo get shot up by hunters before the intro in 6B’s second episode, and then nothing at all about him until halfway through the season?

Is it just me or were they hunting heavily at Theo and Liam being a ship but with no payoff except Theo randomly flicking his eyes down to Liam’s lips? My boys deserve better.

TL:DR: Why on earth did they bring so many returning characters in once in the entire season until the finale, then brought them back for the finale only for them to do fucking nothing?

The cast for Outlast keeps getting worse

In S1 we have people >!stealing sleeping bags and food in the Alaskan wilderness, trapping people on rafts in the middle of a freezing lake, destroying rafts, and holding people hostage at their camps!<.

In S2 we have >!two whiny alpha males gaslighting their team into quitting "for their health" just so that they can get more money at the end, people quitting from both their teams and the game with no warning, and people complaining about things for the sake of it!<.

Now in S3 we get >!people borderline assaulting each other, buckets upon buckets of misogyny, people threatening physical violence, and people naming animals they're going to eat eat after their competitors!<. >!Wes!< should have been removed by production after his behaviour at the coconut tree towards Sarah and Morgan.

Not to mention the excessive shots of animal cruelty. I get that the hunting is part of it, but we don't need to see (S1) >!Jill washing a naked squirrel corpse in a stream!<, (S2) >!the Charlie guy carrying the porcupine thing (or whatever it was) corpse on a stick!< or (S3) >!the seagull flapping and rolling around on the beach after being shot with an arrow!< and >!half an iguana rolling around in a pot over the fire!<.

Edit: I understand hunting happens in the show, and I have no issue with production showing that it happens, or what the animals are, or showing the players eating, etc. But the scenes spoilered out above are just not necessary, especially the ones so far in S3.

Charlie team is absolutely disgusting

Wes should have been removed from the game by production after his threatening of the women from Bravo when they came to harvest coconuts. Who squares up to someone almost half their height, with a weapon, when the person didn't do anything? And all of his arguments with Sarah before have him completely in the wrong. She makes part of the shelter almost exclusively by herself whilst Wes naps on the beach, and somehow she's in the wrong for being annoyed? Bitch, please.

Brett is an absolute swine. He took too much pleasure in killing the iguana, and his attitude towards all the other players, not just the women, is disgusting. He seems like he puts down the other men on other teams who are actually good at the game to feel better about himself. And of course he can't read. *shock horror* His attitude towards Lei in particular is downright insulting.

Braxton really disappointed me, because he didn't seem as bad as the other two in the first part of the season so far, but his mask completely slipped. His mockery of Lei and his condescending remarks about her proving her worth when she is the only one doing anything at Charlie after Sarah gets kicked off irk me so much. And then he says they should name the iguana they're about to kill and eat Lei? I would feel safe with this man.

TL;DR: Alexa, play Manchild by Sabrina Carpenter. Production, try ensuring the safety of the women on this show.

Why the double standard on this sub with sexism in Traitors?

Explicit spoilers for UK2, UK3, and US3 below.

As seen here, there was a post asking if there were seasons with all male traitors from the start, as there were so many with all female.

The comments (including me) discussed the sexism of having so many all female traitor teams, compared to only one all male we could think of in >!Finland S2!<. This led to mass downvoting without any comments arguing, just quiet downvoting from a bigoted bubble ignoring statistics that were shared. Let me clearly provide some:

Seasons with all female original traitors (7): >!CQ3!<, >!Czech S3!<, >!France S6!<, >!Germany S2!<, >!Sweden S3!<, >!Ukraine S1!<, and >!UK3!<.

Seasons with all men as original traitors (1): >!Finland S2!<.

Please note that >!Finland S2!< started with all men and recruited all men, and >!Germany S2!< started with all women and recruited all women.

So out of the seasons where the gender of all original traitors is the same, 87.5% of the time this is in the favour of women rather than men.

There are 7 seasons with all women original traitors, and 1 with all men. Why is it incorrect to point this out as sexist?

UK2 received a lot of criticism for:

  1. Starting with two male traitors and one female, then recruiting another man immediately as a starting twist, and two other men later in the season. Frankly, as is even said on the show, it is tactics. We have seen in many seasons (e.g. UK1, UK3, US3) that once multiple traitors of one gender are caught, the other gender is looked at. It's very simple strategic gameplay to recruit more of your own gender so you have people to through under the bus. There are also season such as >!Canada S3!< that start with both male and female traitors, but have 3 recruitments throughout the season and do not recruit any males. Should this not be criticised the same if it is sexist?
  2. The murder ratio of men : women. This really irks me, because it's a classic example of people picking and choosing where the focus on. The murder ratio of UK2 was 5 women : 2 men. The murder ratio of Au2 was 5 men : 2 women. Why is one heavily criticised and the other ignored? Plus, more men were banished in UK2, especially early on, and women mainly started being banished once numbers whittled down. The total men : women banishment ratio in UK2 is 8 : 5, but this only evened out in the latter half of the season; up to and including Episode 8 the banishment ratio was 5 men : 2 women, the same as the total murder ratio with genders reversed. Interesting.

Then we have, UK3, which started with 3 original female traitors and no male ones. This was done to attempt to prove a point against the "sexism" in UK2, but ended up with an even more skewed murder ratio, once again killing off mostly women. With all female traitors in the turret (save for Freddie for one episode which ended up as a failed murder), the murder ratio was 7 women : 2 men counting the failed murder on Leanne. Without it, the ratio is 6 men : 2 women, undeniably more skewed than UK2. If this does not prove that the sexism allegations against UK2 are ridiculous I don't know what does, because it would mean that basic math doesn't work.

Oh, and fun fact: up to and including Episode 8, UK3 has a banishment ratio of 5 men : 3 women. So more men tend to get banished and more women tend to get murdered regardless of what gender is in the turret? Huh.

Moving onto US3, this will get me a lot of downvotes, but Gabby is extremely sexist in certain things she says.

Exhibit A: Episode 4: "The mothers of their children, the voices of reason, left for dead". GURL. This was an individual challenge for individual safety.

A) Being a mother does not grant you any pass to safety. Is a mother more valuable than a father? Because reversed that sounds very misogynistic. As far as I'm aware, Gabby isn't even a mother.

B) Believe me, being a woman doesn't make you a voice of reason. Just look at how wrong Dolores was for almost the entire season compared to Dylan and Ivar.

C) If you truly think that leaving everyone to their own devices and strategies, including a professional wrestler in Nikki and someone surprisingly physically strong like Dolores, in a strength-based but also relationship and popularity-based challenge is the equivalent of leaving someone for dead, you have an issue.

Disclaimer: The sexism in the boat challenge was when it was said at the third pontoon that strong guys would be needed on the way back and that women should get off. The four housewives volunteered at the first two pontoons, with Dolores and Dorinda doing it very quickly at the second. That is not sexist. What is sexist is saying that women should get off and that men should stay.

Then there are things that Gabby says post-show that would have a man crucified online if the genders were reversed. This comes in after the show: Gabby’s article about calling out misogyny in the final. There was no misogyny at all; for those of you who haven’t read the article, Gabby basically said that she and Dylan both thought about banishing again and that she wanted to banish Ivar since he didn’t need the money, but Dylan refused. In Gabby’s mind, this is Dylan not listening to her because she’s a woman. That sentiment alone shows the entitlement of this woman. Maybe it's not about your gender; it’s because Dylan thought Ivar was a faithful and wasn’t vindictive enough to target someone for already being wealthy. Ivar earned the money just the same as Gabby, possibly more-so since she was completely blind to Bob TDQ and Carolyn as traitors, whereas he wasn’t.

She also mentions that it was sexist that no woman was seen as 100% faithful throughout. Not only is that just stupid gameplay to assume someone is faithful from the start and never change that, but there was no man everyone was fully confident was 100% faithful who lasted a while. I can't think of a single person in the game who made it to the fifth banishment and never came under suspicion except possibly Derrick, who was murdered immediately after.

This fanbase (or at least this sub) holds up Gabby on a pedestal but takes almost every opportunity to criticise Harry or Rob for meaningless things. Why?

TL;DR: There are far more seasons with all female starting traitors than all male, and the murder ratio in UK2 is criticised for killing too many women, but the ratio with an all-female turret (save for one episode) of UK3 is even worse for women. This sub ignores that completely.

Cue the downvotes.

Edit: Yep, same as the first link. Downvotes with little/no arguments because people know they can't argue with statistics.

My (possibly controversial) Faithful Mount Rushmore (with explanations)

Left to right: Ireland S1 Oyin, Denmark S2 Melissa, US3 Dylan, Hungary S1 Aniko

Oyin: >!Amazing gameplay with absolutely incredible traitor hunting and the clocking of the three-way traitor-on-traitor violence. She also recovered well from Joanna misrepresenting their conversation and confusion over a lie in it, which would have been enough to sink any player. She made great alliances, particularly Vanessa, and at the final six vote when she caught heat, several players stated her formidable defence as the reason they did not vote for her. Winning is an added cherry on top with such incredible voting accuracy of 71%.!<

Melissa: >!Dare I say textbook? From finding traitors right from the start to getting herself a traitor-angel when traitor-hunting simultaneously. She used Heino as a traitor angel to survive the final murder, then stuck him immediately at the final five after gaming her way there by lowering her threat level and tricking Heino into protecting her. She was in the majority vote to banish again at the final four, and had such a brilliant social game that a pair of brothers (Emil T and Mikkel) chose to end the game with her at the final three instead of voting her out for more money.!<

Dylan: >!Easily the strongest faithful game we've seen on the US version, with rapid traitor-hunting by locking on to Bob TDQ. He confirmed at the reunion he was using Boston Rob as a traitor angel, and he had two more accidental angels in Danielle and Carolyn, both of which he figured out and booted pre-finale. He solidly held his own against Britney in the finale, and even convinced Gabby to vote for Britney over him, and had the sense to successfully end the game at the final four instead of go to another vote whilst there was heat on him.!<

Aniko: >!The only recruited traitor and non-winner on this list, Aniko was an incredible player with almost 100% voting accuracy for the first seven round tables. She very likely would have won or been murdered just pre-finale had she not been blackmailed at the last minute.!<

Honourable mentions go to US3 Ivar, Ireland S1 Vanessa, CQ1 Étienne, and US2 Trishelle. This is not based on likeability or entertainment, only gameplay.

I move that we as a sub uncanonise Squirrelfight's Hope and Bramblestar's Storm

I love Jessy so I'm gonna need a moment.

...

Moment over.

Bramblestar's Storm and Squirrelflight's Hope both make Squirrelstar and Brambleclaw (retrospectively) commit unsavoury and out of character actions. Whilst these actions are on a different scale, they occur in both books by both characters.

This is not a post for a BrambleSquirrel argument, because there will not be an agreement reached (unless it's me and Squirrelflight (the user) because I dare say we actually listen to each other instead of arguing). But I digress.

Both books destroy characters, and SH commits the sin of that awful Starclan Trial which I think is the one thing everyone can agree on about that super edition: the trial is utterly ridiculous.

I move we uncanonise both super editions to preserve the characters of Brambleclaw and Squirrelstar by removing each of their out of character moments, especially since they have since moved on to such a happy and healthy note in their relationship.

Who's with me?

Tom Hiddleston was apparently almost on Celebrity Traitors S2

From the Instagram story of realitytv_fan who is a VERY reliable cast leaker.
