A yellow jacket got into my apartment. I dont know how. I live in a house that was made into a apartment. Its technically a basement unit.

Last summer I dealt with flies and spiders. I read something about putting those ingredients into a spray bottle and it will help with spiders.

Will this also work for yellow jackets/ wasp? I have a severe allergy. I will go into anaphylaxic shock if I get stung.

I was able to get the yellow jacket out by opening the door and letting it leave on its own.

It didnt show up while I was inside. My door has windows with shutters inside. It was stuck in between the door and the shutter.

I (23F) met this guy, Shawn (25M), a couple of weeks ago at a music event. We've been texting a lot. Im a huge horror movie fan. I told him I have a long list of movies I want to show someone.

We had a movie night last night. Oh my god. It was amazing. The first movie we watched was "Scream 1". He was making jokes throughout the movie.

When we sat on my couch to watch the movie, he asked if I had a blanket. I grabbed one and gave it to him. He said "Are you cold too" I laughed and said yes. I put the blanket on me as well.

He put his arm around me and held me close to his body. He was holding my hand. Stroking my hair. It felt absolutely amazing.

The next movie we planned to watch was called "Orphan" when "Scream" ended I said "You know. Orphan is a mood killer"

Then things got hot and we were making out. We ended up in my bed and it was a mess lol. We couldn't get it in and we were both laughing so hard.

I felt so bad because it wasn't going the way I thought it would. He said "Im just happy to be here with you"

He kept checking in on me to make sure I was ok. Asking if he was being too rough. If Im uncomfortable. If he put his hand where I didnt want him to, he said ok and made sure to not do that again.

It was very sweet. Eventually we gave up and went back to the couch to watch "Orphan" He still put his arm around me and holding me close to him.

The whole night felt surreal. I imagined it happening, but its different when it's actually playing out. I hadn't been with anyone in that way since end of 2023.

Towards the end of us failing to have sex, I started having a panic attack. Ive been sexually assaulted before . I started having a flashback. He got out of the bed immediately and asked if I was ok.

I said yeah. He asked if I have trauma and I said yes, but I dont want to talk about it right now. He said ok and we went back to the couch to watch "Orphan"

The movie ended around midnight. I walked him to his car and he gave me a hug and left. He drove an hour to come to my apartment.

So yeah. That's what happened. Im really happy with how it turned out. He made me feel very comfortable.

TLDR; I had a movie night with a guy, Shawn, last night. He was cuddling me and holding my hand. Joking about "Scream". We ended up in my bedroom. Failed to have sex. He was happy to just be with me. He made me comfortable. We watched the 2nd movie "Orphan"

More cuddling. He left around midnight. He drove an hour to come see me. I had a great night.
