Sonos front speaker queries?

Slowly building an upstairs landing. Setup is a Beam 2, sub mini and rear Era100s. It’s not a huge space. Tv only 55inch.

Looking to add fronts via Sonosequencer. 2 questions:

Would I be best to add 2 extra Era100s? Or move current 100s to front and upgrade the rears?

Also positioning? Inline with the beam 2 mounted? Or would it’s all work ok, if the base of the mounted speakers were inline with base of tv? Sorry if I’m overanalysing this all a bit too much!! But feedback always appreciated 👍

Running Trueplay again?

I have added a rug in my living room…

I have a beam 2 set up with sub mini and 2 era 100 fronts. If I want to run Trueplay again, can I simply do so?
Or do I have to remove the group and run it all individually again?
I don’t want to mess with things as I found sonosequencer a little hard to set up initially but now it running don’t want to mess with groupings for the sake of a minor Trueplay tinker.

White ghost - Too much sunlight?

My Euphorbia lactea - white ghost has turned pink and the arms are quite shriveled and soft. I removed it from the sunny spot months ago, but the soft arms are still present. It’s very strong and healthy in the main base etc so it’s not rotting or anything… will it recover eventually and feel firm again?

Sonos 5, to pair or not to pair?

Recently purchased a Sonos 5 and it’s glorious. I’ve heard how a stereo pair is as good as it gets. Have minimal placement options in my place, but based on the photos, could I put one to the left on the vacant brown coffee table? Or will this lead to the speakers being too close together? Purely for music listening when I’m seated in middle of couch.

I have no idea if they require further away space, for each other and from me when seated!? I don’t want to buy for the sake of it if I’m not really going to enjoy the experience.

I was so incredibly fortunate to pick up a ex display Sonos 5 for $200aud… had minor cosmetic scuff mark and no box. But 12 month warranty… and dear lord this thing is wonderful 🙏

17 Pro Max side camera button placement better for selfies?

I’ve got small hands, currently running with the iPhone 15 pro max and basically it’s a stretch to take selfies on it and not have the feeling of phone wobble. I use the white circle on screen for pic. The 17 pro has a right side button, so for anyone else with hand size issues, has this been a significant improvement for taking selfies? And then actually wanting to take more selfies? I get disheartened as is

Era 100 options?

Firstly, I can’t place my Era 100s behind my sofa.
So traditional surround options are out.

Currently have the Beam 2 and sub mini for TV.
The Era 100s are set up as a stereo pair. I love how clean and minimalist this all looks.

I am wondering though, is there a way to use the era 100s as front surrounds? Try and get more use out of them? Id love to be able to play everything for music and then for tv… but again cant utilise any space behind, and yes it sounds terrible when paired I did test as fronts.

Is this where the 3rd party Sonos app sequencer comes into it? I’m unfamiliar with it but seen it mentioned often here.

If what I already have it the best setup, then so be it, I’m happy. Def was keen to atleast get the sub mini connected between both speakers and soundbar but to fidgety to keep pairing and unpairing in the app.. just not sustainable.

Any thoughts or feedback would help 💪

Speaker stand feedback

Just received some solid quality stands for Era 100s. The speakers are at 71cm fixed height. Based on the photos are they too low perhaps?

I’m aware the Sonos offical ones are at 91cm.

I’m asking for some advice as first time I’ve had surround sounds and they’re def something I’m still getting used to at ear level.

Also I’m within my rights to return these stands if they’re night correct, so checking now with the community. Gut tells me a tad higher would be better?

Advice on Era 100 pair that will be constantly plugged in/unplugged around the house…

Seeking some advice/feedback from anyone in similar situation.

I have a Sonos Beam 2, and I’m dying to have the full surround sound experience for movies and sport.
I have space behind the sofa for some Era 100s, so placement isn’t an issue… BUT partner won’t let me keep them on the open living kitchen bench permanently.

So I’m considering getting them and to use almost like a portable set. When not in use may even store them away. Of course I’d go with Move 2s if they synced properly with the tv experience but they don’t.

Main query is, has anyone had any negative experience with constantly plugging in/unplugging these speakers? Besides the pain of doing so.

Chat GPT says won’t be an issue for harm to the speakers, but prefer real life reviews?

Apple Music issues with playing via Airplay or Sonos app. Help needed?

Apple Music has suddenly stopped working via Airplay or Sonos app with my sound system. Am I the only one?

The Sonos app still plays the Sonos radio stations via the app with no issues, so thinking this is an Apple Music issue. Few months into ownership of Sonos setup and only now having issues.

Sonos Era 100 placement query!

Hi all, I have an island behind my sofa. I’m wanting to add Era 100s on stand behind and underneath the island lip, where stools would usually go. Will this work? Or do the speakers need extra space above and behind to breath? Height wise will be ear level so perfect from that end.

Any advice would be much appreciated here.
