First time looking at a beetle, is this a major issue?

Looking at a beetle today and mechanically it felt great but has a few small easily repaired issues on the fenders, rear tail pan, and a little bubble in the roof that looks cosmetic. The area I am most concerned about is this spot inside of the drivers door where the heater channel meets the pillar. It is rusted through in a spot and there is another larger spot on the other side that is flaking (inner fender well). Is this major issue or fix or could a more cosmetic patch work for an occasional fun car? Doors open and close fine but don’t want to spend the money if I need to do cutting and welding or have a chance for the body sagging.

Pickups Over the Last Couple of Weeks

A couple of card shop stops for the Topps cards and an eBay purchase for the Yankees lineup card. Working to wrap up a player run on Killebrew and it’s hard to walk away from a clean 64 stand up.

Bought Two Lineup Cards - Which To Keep or Both - and Value Question

Ended up with two Yankees lineup cards in the past year and I’m trying to decide if I should let one go. First one was at a shop in NYC on a trip to the city and to a Yankees game so it has some sentimental value and is PSA authenticated with a grade 9 on Casey Stengel’s signature. It is from May 26, 1956 in Baltimore but unfortunately it’s not really a key date but the 1956 year was special and I’ve seen other lineup cards listed at a premium from this year.

I wasn’t planning on getting another one but I started watching a 1954 card on eBay that is Beckett authenticated with Stengel autograph on the front in the normal spot along with Hank Bauer, Moose Skowron, Enos Slaughter, and Phil Rizzuto on the back. I liked the additional signatures and that Berra was in the lineup and Ford was pitching. It was around what I paid for the 56 at first and then dropped down until I bought it this week. In hand the Beckett case is much nicer too imo.

With that said, now I have to decide whether to keep both or sell off the 1956. I have also struggled to value the 1956 because I can’t find recent sales online, only a couple listed for around 2k and up. I did hear that more sell in collector groups than eBay, does anybody know a good value to look for?
