It is going to be 92 degrees tomorrow. If you do not have well-functioning air conditioning, we encourage you to pack up the children and spend the morning hanging out with us. We have comfortable sofas, movies, air conditioning, snacks, games, and a ball pit. Our team will be on-site from 8 am until noon. After that, we will be heading into the community to check on several families we serve. Your families are an extension of ours, and you are always welcome at the organization.

Avigail’s in a Dad-fit today, representing one of my favorite styles (although I rarely dress so dapper despite wanting to)! Happy Father’s Day to fathers and father figures :-)

This discovery made me remember how many different ways people eat pizza! I know it depends on regional norms (I grew up on Long Island in NY, so right by NYC) and type of pizza for many people but I do fold mine, even Sicilian slices (which are thick/ square).

One less common thing I often do is eat crust early on! I think I was 6 or 7 when a friend did it and it always stuck with me lol.

Naming this month’s room after the song La Vie Bohème from Rent! Although, when the theme Boho was announced I never knew that was short for Bohemian and assumed it was a music genre until my wife told me😂.

I have been looking for the pig outfit to compliment the hood and the slippers for months now, and today I saw another color pig hood (as usual lol) and expressed to my wife how I long for the day I see the pink pig outfit in the shop (I sometimes post on the Reddit trade thread) and then I looked a little more at my shop… and it was there!! Birthday luck/ coincidence! 🩷🐷

Also I am very mixed feelings about my birthday due to OCD intrusive thoughts striking hardest in anticipation of special days/ occasions but it’s way less bad than it was years ago since I try to let myself experience joy even knowing sad/ bad things will happen eventually regardless of if they are on the special days themselves.
