Anti Drug Ads that gave me my first panic attack

It was 2011 im a junior in hs and smoking some mids that i picked up from a crackhouse.

Anyways im having a good time, but these ads along with the smiling mustache man in Bobby McFerrins “don’t worry be happy” video

Along with reading about paranoid schizophrenia sent me into my first full blown panic.

I remember thinking “oh my gd! I was only gonna try weed once!”

Hehe good times, i think..

The Ads are never relevant to me

Lil vent:

The ads are never relevant, i actually find them quite annoying.

You can also get an ad before the song, and skips count as plays?

$6 a month is nothing, i pay for a couple subscriptions that are more than that.

But the lengths SoundCloud goes to feels insulting, so they’ll never get a cent outta me! *frothing at the mouth*

If anyone runs ads on SoundCloud definitely reconsider.

They show me the same ad almost every time.

Atleast spotify spaces the ads out in a clever way.

They actually try to make the ads music sync with whatever genre you listen to

And wait for you to actually lock.

Soundcloud ads and their timing often prompt me to close out the app.

I get they are reinventing themselves BTS and excited about ai integration, but holy shit

Sometimes I want to talk to corporate because at this rate it seems like SoundCloud is dying, even if they are still profitable.

I have songs from my teens and 20s on their especially 2016 era.

If they shut down one day fine, but i need my playlist.

Btw its too easy to unlike songs, they could add a simple “are you sure?”
Prompt but it seems like they just dgaf about the user experience.

Fuck Soundcloud

Early 2000’s Original Chicken Sandwich

It honestly tasted better, and was crispier.

Also had more of a kick if i recall; and they may have had a spicy version?

Anyone know when they changed the chicken?
