How do I both play and record at the same time without using the source projector with only one monitor?

I got a capture card with both a USB and HDMI output (passthrough I believe it’s called?) and I only just realized that the output is meant for a second monitor and only the USB is meant for that. The problem is I only have one monitor and I don’t have an HDMI splitter thingy. Is there a way to do this without buying any other equipment? I don’t need to see OBS at all times, just needs to be running in the background.

Can someone help me identify this (third party) controller?

The caps on the joysticks are technically not part of the controller but they came with it. 3.5 x 5.5 x 1.5 inches (yes it’s very small but comfortable)

The weird size and the fact that it has lasted years without even drifting is the main reason I want this one specifically (or at the very least one of a similar size) but I have no clue where to find it as my search has just fallen flat. Bought it off of amazon a few years ago IIRC.

Is it better to bike or turn in the safari zone?

Safari zone hunting for the first time and I’m just wondering if it’s better to bike in circles or just stay on one tile and repeatedly turn. Is it faster to bike around or is turning just better? Is it worth the $500 every attempt? Should I just save before entering and reload if I don’t get a shiny before the steps run out or is it not even worth the hassle?
