I was culture-shocked when one of Gambian friends told me that it is rude in her country. I thought it is something universal. I'm Indonesian and they're studying in Indonesia)

Few months ago, I replied "hm ëm" (yes / I understand) and the same lady didn't understand me or "what?" face, I said "hm ëmmm!" and still didn't understand and finally, she annoyed and I explained what I mean and she explained it

and before that, one guy (my friend) didn't understand as well and since whatever time, he imitated my "hm ëm" occasionally for joke like it's unusual for him, therefore funny

If you search something outside your city, your country, the list now mixes with places in your area

The only reliable thing is to manually zoom now

Truly Google enshittification. What's next? Warp/link-to tags in places you expect something's there?

Google Maps now mixes up results with the local ones if we search outside our area, and I'm sure they will annoy us with non-existent places that jumps into somewhere else in the future

When someone does their most-effective-tactics-available, even the first one to do is the most obscure brand, everyone will follow it like they have a guru/consultant
