If a tutorial session is full, but the lecture isn’t, what are the chances I can get into the tutorial? The class isn’t mandatory for my degree but I’m interested in pursuing a certifcate that needs it. Thanks for any info and help!
Hi everyone, I was wondering how likely would the Housing department approve my early arrival request if I’m an upper year moving from BC? And what are peoples experiences with this? I’m planning on asking them if I can move in on the weekends instead of the intended date on Monday Sept 8th. Thank you in advance for any help or info.

Hi everyone, has anyone who applied for Student Aid this year received their MSFAA yet? I got an email from NSLSC to complete my MSFAA but when I logged in, I don’t see where I can complete my MSFAA. I talked to a NSLSC person and they said it’s an issue from Student Aid BC and that they haven’t given them my new MSFAA number yet. Does anyone have this issue as well? Thanks for any info.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone is in this certificate and did you personally find it useful when it came to looking for jobs or just the knowledge in general? Also are the courses difficult? They seem a bit technical but I’m in engineering so I’m just not sure if I can handle more technical courses than I already have. Thank you!

Hi everyone, I’m going into third year civil and I was wondering about the course-load. I have heard from a few upper years that it was more challenging than second year. Was it that bad? Did you find anything in particular that helped you do well? Hi everyone, I was wondering how important is it to have a solid LinkedIn profile as someone who’s still in university? Does it make a difference with hiring managers? And by solid, I mean like having a few posts up, university & program listed, current/past work experience, current/past volunteer experience, etc. I personally take pride in my profile just because I saw my other classmates do it haha and LinkedIn itself helped me find my first official internship. I have heard differing opinions about how it’s good to have (don’t have to post anything but just have it as a resume of some sort) and some people say it’s unnecessary. What are your thoughts? Hi everyone, I’m sorry if this is a stupid question but I been wondering how come Translink doesn’t offer any internship positions? I have seen a few for IT and Business Management fields but nothing for something like Engineering, or Transportation Planning based. I don’t know if I’m not looking hard enough or at the right time. Or is it because Translink often hire consulting companies or other outside work to do the majority of their design work/planning for them?
