Looking for study partners to learn Java, Spring Boot, DSA, AWS and build projects together

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a few people who are interested in learning and growing together in software development.

My current roadmap includes:

  • Java: Core Java and OOP
  • Backend: Spring Boot, REST APIs
  • Databases: SQL and database design
  • DSA: Regular LeetCode practice using Java
  • Cloud: AWS fundamentals and deployment
  • Projects: Building real-world projects to apply what we learn

As we progress and reach a decent level, we can explore other tools, technologies, and concepts that are relevant to backend development and the industry.

The idea is to stay consistent, discuss concepts, solve problems together, review each other's code, build projects, and keep each other accountable.

I'm not looking for experts. Beginners and people who are genuinely willing to learn and put in the effort are welcome. We can create a small Discord group, set weekly goals, share resources, and help each other when we're stuck.

The goal is simple: learn together, build cool stuff, improve our DSA, and become better developers.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, drop a comment or DM me with what you're currently learning.

Let's grow together!

Bhai koi ise adopt karega please??

Today I saw this small kitten being chased by around 4–5 dogs. I managed to get him away from them and keep him safe for now.

I don’t know what happened to his mother. I looked around, but I’m not sure if she’s still nearby.

He’s very small and clearly needs someone to look after him. Unfortunately, my family isn’t allowing me to keep him permanently.

I really don’t want to put him back outside where the dogs could get to him again. If anyone here can foster, adopt, or help me find a safe place for him, I’d be incredibly grateful.

3rd year student here, trying to get my first internship. Need some guidance

I’m a 3rd-year student from a T3 college and I’m trying to get my first internship by the end of this semester.

I’ve been doing DSA almost every day. I’m following Striver's A2Z sheet.

I’m honestly pretty confused about what I should focus on apart from DSA.

I know Java and SQL, and right now I’m planning to start Spring Boot and go towards backend development. Is Java + Spring Boot + SQL a good path for internships? Or am I missing something important that I should learn along the way?

I also want to build some good projects, but I don’t want to make the same basic CRUD apps that everyone has on their resume.

So I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have already gone through this:

  • Is my current DSA approach good enough for internship interviews?
  • Is Java + Spring Boot + SQL a good stack to focus on?
  • What skills should I prioritize at this stage?
  • Where do you guys find good project ideas?
  • What kind of projects actually stand out on a resume?
  • And how should I approach getting internships from a T3 college?

I’m trying to make the most of this semester, but there’s so much advice online that it’s honestly getting confusing.

Would really appreciate any practical advice from seniors who’ve been through this.

Friendly advice for movie lovers: avoid the cheapest showtimes. 💔

Just came back from watching Obsession at PVR and ngl the movie was straight up fire. Easy 9/10 for me.

BUT HOLY SHIT THE AUDIENCE 💀

There were a few absolute NPCs in my row who just wouldn't shut up. Talking loudly, cracking jokes every 2 minutes, laughing at the most important scenes, and constantly complaining.

This one dude sitting next to me was on a generational yap session. Bro spent more time reviewing the movie out loud than actually watching it. 😭

At one point he was like, "There's not even any horror in this."

Like bro, you came to watch psychological horror, not The Conjuring fckin 12. Not every horror movie needs a demon doing parkour across the ceiling every 5 minutes.

Like it's completely fine if you don't like the movie. But if you've already decided it's trash, then respectfully stfu and let the rest of us enjoy it. Why am I getting a live commentary track from a random dude who thinks he's a film critic?

So If you're a movie lover, never go when the tickets are dirt cheap. Learned that lesson today💔...

Guyss😭 I saw street dogs being caught today in Gorakhpur — does anyone know where they’re taken?

Today I saw a team catching street dogs in Gorakhpur. I’m a little worried because I’ve seen many videos online where such agencies keep dogs in terrible conditions — tiny cages, poor treatment, lack of food/water, etc.

I really hope that’s not the case here and that the dogs are being vaccinated/sterilized and properly cared for🥲
