Can't get my Blizzard Sorc past T10

I've played this character through the season and I've hit something of a wall. I can push ~105 in The Pit and fairly comfortably do T10 content, but if I try to go higher or do things like Baal, Mephisto or Diablo dungeons I really struggle.

I've followed a maxroll build with the only real change being keeping Stone of Jordan for survivability because I've not yet found the Ring of Starless Skies.

Here's my items and talisman: Build Planner: Mesinat (Sorcerer). I've followed the above build guide for Paragon so haven't added that, and my skills are all filled up as you'd expect so haven't added them.

I also have a basically dead skill slot (no.3) because having Teleport there reduces the effectiveness of Orisvane (and means I have to have Teleport Enchantment). What should I use there instead?

Is this just a case that I need to be slowly improving my gear where I can? or is there something I'm missing?

Thanks for the help!

A visitor arrives from 150 years ago. You have 50 words.

A portal opens and out steps someone from 150 years ago. You're tasked with explaining what's changed in the world since their time, but for some reason you only have FIVE sentences, each one a maximum of TEN words.

What do you tell them?

Some ground rules:

- The visitor is a middle-class person from the same country as you.

- They speak your language and are reasonably intelligent and well-informed for their time period.

- You can't use gestures or mime to deliver any information you don't also deliver verbally. You can't show them videos or pictures.

- You must use real words and grammar in your language.

- You can decide what's most important to tell them; technological, social, medical, political, whatever.

- Your information must be complete; you can't give them instructions to go find out more somewhere else.

ETA:

  • The visitor won't return to their time. You're bringing them up to speed rather than warning them of any future (for their time) events.

I'll say it: Windrose's sea shanties are superior to Black Flag's.

I remember when Black Flag was first out, wandering around the Caribbean with salty seamen acapella-ing their way from island to island was absolutely peak.

Windrose has many issues, but honestly the sea shanties in this game are so good, with the extra level of harmonisation adding just that ear-scratching depth that feels so satisfying.

Ok, this feels pretty good.

I wasn't able to play on update day, so I'm dead happy with 151 ranking!

Love the game. Despise the combat.

I've played this a lot in the last week, sailing and building my wee base. But any time I come across an enemy I need to fight, I just end up frustrated and annoyed.

It's so janky and horrible - on ships you can't move through crew mates but can get attacked through them, attacks stagger you for FAR too long so you get chain-CCed to death, blocking is choppy and useless, you can't interrupt an attack unless you pre-empt it before it happens.

I've dropped enemy attack and health down low just because I can't be dealing with it. I've shut the game so many times in frustration, only to load it back up because I enjoy the other elements so much.

Anyone else feel like this? Is this just a "git gud" situation?
