Unpopular opinion about concealed carry

I added a red dot optic, Talon Grips, and the Glock 15-round magazine to my Glock 43X. I carry this pistol every day—all day.

While I love the upgrades, I’ve noticed they’ve added just enough bulk and length to make the gun print more when carrying concealed.

Now I’m starting to wonder if I should’ve just kept it bone stock. Sometimes, there’s something to be said for a plain Jane carry gun.

Oh my! Does this mean that the PSA mags are more reliable?

Been waiting for months for the new OEM glock mags then they post this? Should I get the PSA instead?

In relation to my post earlier, I’ve decided to go with the 3 MOA.

I’ll just wait for the 15-round magazines to arrive, and that should complete this setup. Once they’re in, I’ll probably add a magwell as well.Lol

After that, I’ll move on from this build and start planning a new range/home defense setup—most likely a PCC.

Quick question guys: I’m about to get a Vortex Defender CCW, and my LGS has both the 3 MOA and 6 MOA versions. Which one is better, and which dot size do you prefer? This will be my first optic, so I’d appreciate any advice.

Gun Gear Acquisition Syndrome is REAL! 😭😅🤣

I have 3 belts, 3 holsters, 4 wedges, new clothes for better concealed carry, fanny pack, sling bag, chest rig bag, range bag, tons of ammo, 3 ear protections, 3 caps, 1 tourniquet, thermal blankets, and 5 knives.

The catch? I just started CCW last March 2026.

OSIGHT SE HONEST FEEDBACK

I’ve watched a lot of YouTube reviews about this optic and almost all of them are positive, even from reputable channels. I’ve also seen many Facebook posts from actual owners praising it.

However, I’ve noticed that some commenters on Facebook, Reddit, and other forums still call it “trash,” “unproven,” or “not duty-grade.” That got me curious.

For those who have actually owned and used the OSIGHT SE, what has your experience been like? How has it held up in terms of reliability, durability, battery life, holding zero, and overall performance?

I’m especially interested in hearing from real users rather than people repeating what they’ve heard online. Genuine question. Thanks in advance!

Will the stock speed loader for the 10-round mags work with the new OEM Glock 15-round mags? If not, what speed loader would you guys recommend?

For your everyday carry gun, do you guys use reloaded ammo at the range? How many times do you usually reload your brass before discarding it? I want to take care of my EDC gun barrel as much as possible. I use a lot of factory ammo, and now I have so many empty shells.

My EDC: Glock 43X MOS.
Carried everywhere, every day - even at home.
Keeping it bone stock for now, no budget for upgrades yet.
For now, I’ve invested more in ammo and range time.
