Flea market haul (Russian medals)

Been to the city today, so i stopped by the flea market per usual, and here's what i picked up for a 100 dollars from a Russian immigrant who brought these from Russia when he arrived:

1-> "For the Return of Crimea" medal, awarded for service members during the russian annexation of Crimea in 2014.

2-> "For the Liberation of Odessa" medal, from what i was told by the russian guy, this medal was made for when the Pro-Russian separatist movements was supposed to take control of Odessa in 2015, but it never happened. The takeover was not successful and they halted the issuing of this medal.

3-> Mint condition "For blood and bravery" Wagner medal, this medal is surplus, the issued medals that were given to Wagner Mercenaries would have their ID number on the front and back. It came with a Authenticity certificate which is cool.

4-> "Distinction in an Emergency Situation" medal, it was awarded by the Russian Ministery of Emergency Situations to personnel who helped in Emergency Situations (earthquakes, tornadoes...). It was a gift from the seller, really nice.

5-> "To the Participant of the Liberation of Novorosssiya from Nazism" badge, produced by "Voentorg" or in simple terms "private military mints", it was given to Russian Armed Forces soldiers, Donbas Militants, Volunteers and PMCs. Generally considered a Propaganda badge. Cool nonetheless.

Pretty cool haul in my opinion, the seller also gave me a Wagner PMC patch for free.

Metro 2033 Novel

Thought i'd share my First US English Edition (2013) Metro 2033 Novel, such a cool book. While it lacks art like the 2034 Novel and 2035 Novel, it still has the Xbox 360 art at the end which i think is pretty cool and nostalgic.

[MW3] Back to the roots (DLC BUG SOLUTION)

I remember playing MW3's campaign on my old PC back in 2013 when i was like 6 or 7 years old, great memories. Now im an adult , and i decided to download a bunch of childhood CoD games (Cod 2, Cod 4..) but i was mainly hyped for MW3. I downloaded it and played the campaign a couple of times. But ever since i was a kid, i always wondered how the MW3 multiplayer was like (my first CoD multiplayer was CoD ghosts in 2017 on the Xbox 360). So naturally, now that i played alot of CoD games, i was exited to play MW3's, but alas my excitement was cut short. When i wanted to enter the Xbox live section, it would tell me that i need to download 2 Free DLCs and without them i can't play. So i left the game for a couple of months, i would only replay the campaign. But today it changed. Im currently in a dry gaming era lowk, and i was looking for games to play. So i downloaded MW3 again but this i was locked in to get the multiplayer working. I searched the media, some said i need to download the DLCs from the Microsoft store. I searched the DLCs but found nothing. 2 reviews mentioned the same problem that i have. One of them specifically mentioned that the problem is the Region of which im playing MW3 (Country). So i looked into it more and it turns out Activision has removed Downloadable DLCs from most Regions in the world, and they're only found in US and UK stores. So i sat my Xbox Series X settings to the US and amazingly enough it worked. I downloaded the DLCs and then i sat back my Xbox to the Original region and now i can play the multiplayer. Childhood dream achieved. Thanks for reading if you made it this far.

->If you're on Xbox and facing the DLC problem:

  1. Set your region to the US.

  2. DLCs will appear in the store.

3.Download them.

4.Make sure they're in the game via "manage games and add-ons".

5.Set your Xbox to your normal settings.

  1. Restart your Xbox.

Flea market finds

Been to the city last week, i visited the flea market there and found these guys. From left to right: A Lenin commemorative coin, USSR 3 Rubles featuring the tragic Armenian earthquake of 1988, a 2013 10 Chervonets fantasy coin featuring Mao Zedong and the USSR Coat of Arms, and finally a North Korean 2002 5 Won banknote. Nice finds imo.

1913 Serbian Cross of the second balkan war

Issued by King Peter I shortly after the second balkan war, commemorating the Serbian victory against the Tsardom of Bulgaria. Found it in a local flea shop while hunting for russian silver. Although it's missing the ribbon, Awesome Pre-WW1 medals and commemoratives like this are always interesting for me.

My second full set (Syrian pound 1997-1998)

My favorite full set in my entire banknote collection. Everything about this series is awesome. The art is gorgeous, The notes feel heavy and distinct . I can't really put into words how much i like this set.

My first full set (Syrian Pound 2009-2025)

This Syrian Pound series (2009-2025) was my first full set that i actually had to look for specific banknotes to complete it. I remember having to dig to find the 2000 note and the 1000. But the feeling after completing the set is so satisfying. I tried to find the most crisp notes and i think i fared well. It took about 3-4 months for me to complete this set because i didn't use Ebay at the time so i only relied on the flea market. Painful but rewarding.

Flea Market Find (500 Pruta)

A month ago i got the Israeli Bank Leumi 5 pounds (1952-1954), and i also saw this 500 pruta banknote (1955), but i didn't get it because the 5 pounds was pretty expensive, so i promised to get back for it. And i did. Cool piece in my opinion, highlights the transition from Bank Leumi Le-Israel to the Bank of Israel.

My set of the late soviet ruble banknotes. From 1 ruble to 1000 rubles. Among them there is notes (like the 1000) which was printed after the collapse, in 1992, they also go by "Pavlov Notes", mainly addressing the last prime minister of the Soviet Union. Neat banknotes with rich history.

I've seen funny clips of this guy and don't know his name. I tried looking everywhere for his name and didn't find anything. He used to stream warzone back in 2020 and had a mannequin he'd beat up when he rages.
