Should content creators remove outdated videos

TLDR- should content creators remove content that they freely admit is outdated advice?

I’ve been watching tons of videos on growing cannabis indoors. There has always been a lot of bro science, anecdotal “evidence”, and actual science that’s either directly related to cannabis or more often applied to it from experiments and experience on other crops. As more is shared from person to person and more science is uncovering strong evidence for or against certain methods and techniques paradigms have been shifting. There are some cut and dried things that we know for sure now that we simply didn’t in the past and still plenty that’s up for debate.

My question is when a content creator in this space changes their thinking and methods based on new information and actually denounces their past methods as either ineffective or harmful should they be obligated to remove the old content? I’ve seen videos just a year old that directly contradict the one that just came out and often the entire point of the new one is to highlight this change in thinking yet the original remains.

Recipe issue again

Here we go again. It will not let me set the oscillating fan to just 24 hours at speed 3. So I try to set it for two back to back times and it will not do it. I turned it off to take pics of trichomes and now it just won’t work. Happened a few days ago but it let me set two times one for 23 hours and one for one hour but wouldn’t let me set them at the same speed so had to set one at 3x and the other at 2x. I tried every combination. I tried unplugging and plugging back in. I checked for an update. This is so frustrating.

Spider mites got me considering the dark arts but going with herbology instead

I’m sick of gross “potions” like neem oil and the like so picked up these critters 😊

Hey all 👋 So I’m trying to set up a solid defensive line of beneficial/predatory insects including nematodes, mites, larvae, and adult bugs like lady beetles and lacewing flies. The shipping costs of these things can be insane since most come from the other side of the country. I did speak to a few local suppliers but they deal in large orders for nursery’s and greenhouses. I figured if a few of us got together and did a bi monthly re-up and split it or ordering a larger order we can split from Oregon or California would be less costly than doing it alone. I know it’s a long shot but anyone who’s interested just comment or msg me. Thanks 😊 ✌️

I finally made the choice and I’m pretty excited. I’m still a few weeks from harvest but I’m just glad I won’t have to sweat the dry and cure. I know everyone has their own opinion on value/efficacy but to me I just bought less anxiety and better nights sleep along with a much better perpetual harvest cycle for my particular setup. I couldn’t “just get another tent” and the room is too small to have a dry tent and a flower tent and a veg tent all going and sticking to their individual parameters. Even with plant limitation in my state I’ll be able to harvest two plants every 2-3 weeks going forward.

What do y’all do for dry and cure? Anyone have both a cannatrol and vcure? Anyone do half a harvest in one setup and half in another? Have you changed methods over your grow journey? I’d love to hear people’s stories 😊

App has been down over an hour. Maybe they’re getting another update ready to drop because this is what happened to me last time they updated. I have no way to control my grow or check on it at all. When I go to contact customer service even through Google it redirects me and opens the app which doesn’t work 🤦
