Has anyone ever explored the actual mechanics of lycanthropy in HP? (Canon or fanfiction)

I’m trying to understand how lycanthropy actually works in the Harry Potter world beyond “you get bitten and become a werewolf.”

Has Rowling/Pottermore ever explained what physically or magically happens after the bite? Like how the curse spreads…..whether it’s treated as venom, a blood-borne curse, a magical infection or something else?

Also, are there any fanfics that go into the biology or magical mechanics of lycanthropy in a believable way? I’m especially interested in the period between the bite and the first full moon, how healers deal with it, and what the body is actually going through.
I’d love any canon references or fic recommendations!

What’s the deal with the Hall of Prophecy?

I have always wondered about the Department of Mysteries Hall of Prophecy.

Maybe I have forgotten something from the books but where do all those prophecies even come from? Are there really that many Seers randomly making prophecies?
I always thought a genuine prophecy was supposed to be an incredibly rare event yet there’s an entire room full of them.
Did canon ever explain how prophecies are recorded, who is making them or why there are so many? Or is this one of those mysteries that’s intentionally left vague?
Also, are there any fanfics that explore the Hall of Prophecy or build interesting lore around how it works?

How do you picture Lily Evans?

I have been reading more Marauders fanfics lately, and I have realised Lily is probably the character I have the hardest time picturing. Every fic seems to have such a different interpretation of her.

If you have read The Last Enemy, what did you think of that version of Lily? Did she feel close to how you imagine canon Lily or do you picture her differently?

I would also love to know what traits you think are essential to Lily’s character. I’m trying to figure out my own interpretation while planning a Marauders story.

Marauders-era AU with an OC (would love some honest feedback on the overall idea)

I’ve been trying to make a Marauders-era story for a long time now, and before I start properly writing it, I’d love to know what people think about the premise.
It’s an alternate ending, but not in the sense of “everyone survives because the OC saves the day.” My idea is more like a butterfly effect. If one believable person had existed alongside the Marauders for all seven years, wouldn’t that naturally change some of the people around her? Not because like she’s the centre of the universe, but because that’s simply how relationships work.
The OC is a Gryffindor pureblood girl who enters Hogwarts the same year as the Marauders. She’s not a prodigy or Chosen One or some supergirl type of thing also and not someone who immediately becomes everyone’s best friend. She has her own life, her own friends, Quidditch, family problems, misunderstandings, and her own storyline completely separate from the Marauders. The friendships grow the same way real friendships do through years of shared classes, arguments, inside jokes, mistakes, awkward moments, Quidditch practices, Hogsmeade trips, and surviving school together.
Because she’s around for all seven years, some canon characters naturally develop a little differently. Sirius, for eg, is still Sirius. He’s reckless, arrogant, loyal, impulsive, and deeply complicated. But canon Sirius never really had someone in his life equivalent to what Lily eventually became for James….someone who quietly challenged him, argued with him when he was wrong, and simply became part of his everyday life over the years. I’m quiet interested in exploring how that changes him without changing who he fundamentally is.
The same goes for the others. I don’t want Peter to be a cartoon villain from day one. I am heavily inspired from TLE version characters and I want to have my part in it. Lily character and james are so well written in that i loved them and would like them that way. The OC doesn’t replace their arcs; she intersects with them, and those intersections slowly create a different future.
So the real story I’m interested in isn’t the romance or even the alternate ending. It’s seven years of Hogwarts life…friendships forming gradually, people growing up, politics creeping into the castle, the First Wizarding War getting closer every year, and one extra relationship here or one extra conversation there slowly creating ripples that eventually make the ending diverge from canon.

Pls give me your honest opinions on this… i would really like to know. Basically i am someone who loves sirius and really want for him to have these good of a life because all i ever think of is the broken child behind that face he keeps showing to world. TLE version sirius by ch darling has made me understand.

“सावळ्यांची जानू सावळी” पाहिलेली कोणी आहे का?

Can someone briefly explain the plot of Savalyanchi Janu Savali and what’s happening in the current storyline?
I came across the show recently and was curious about the story, characters, and the main plot so far.
