Are some shows OSTs bangers because the show is good or are some shows good because the OSTs are bangers?
Thinking specifically about “You Say Run” and MHA. This isn’t a dump on MHA thread, but I genuinely feel like that song added so much to the show. In the same vein, AoT was an extremely engaging show that also had a banger OST. but to counterpoint my own argument, the show Mecha-Ude who had the same composer as AoT had a great theme (https://youtu.be/9ucbgvIQGHE?si=xDP8X-6TbkB1gwBU) but the show wasn’t that good overall.
So what say you, how much does the OST impact the show?
