The alternate kit is fire!
I know the white, collared kit is all the hype atm, but I gotta say, this looks pretty freaking fire! I'm really torn with the kit I'll grab (might have to opt for both 😬).
What are your thoughts?

What on earth happened to the price of these? They were R38.99 a pop last week (and before), and now they're suddenly R49.99! That's a crazy increase! I know that the Protein Factory alternative goes for R56.99 which is why I preferred these, but everywhere I look in Cape Town now, they seem to be 50 bucks. What a shame!
I've been a PS fan since PS1 - I only got a Switch 2 and Xbox Series X with current gen. It is worth saying that I have been an aggressively physical owner to date. With that said, I genuinely think I'd make the jump if PS6 really launches without physical media anymore. I don't judge those who don't care about it that's perfectly fine, but it's just not for me. Unfortunately Sony's exclusives don't really justify the console purchase alone any more.
I remember this commentary like it was yesterday! I never understood what actually went wrong with brazil that day, or was Germany just on another planet in terms of form?
The only reason I'd accept this call is to vent some steam - the chances of me being "recruited" are about the same as a set of Porsche car keys landing in my lap in the next 20min❤️ (universe?)
Hey guys, first time poster here - just trying to figure out what song this is, Shazam is failing me - TIA!
Looks like it's el Kloppo!
Someone presented this question to me and I'm not sure how I feel about it:
Would you rather lose to paraguay on penalties, or advance and lose 7-0 to france in the next round?
Of course there's always "should have, would have, could have", but I dunno if progressing was just postponing a bandaid that needed to be ripped off. Germany simply don't play exciting football any more, and Nagelsmann isn't the right coach to bring it about. Thoughts?
Firstly, the bouncing balls - when did we start letting that happen? It set up several unnecessary attacks for the opposition throughout the tournament.
Secondly, how can you keep repeating the same strategy over and over again, expecting a different result?
For woltemade's penalty, the keeper came off the line - I thought this wasn't allowed?
Why didn't Germany protest when Goretzka was held in the box? That looked like an obvious penalty?
Look, chances are we lose against france anyway, but freaking PARAGUAY? IT'S A FREAKING DISGRACE!
Why was Raum impeding the keeper? It was a ridiculously soft call, but even so, he had nothing to do with play, why risk it?
The runs this kid made were true works of art - I really hope we get to see this Musiala again soon! Some of these are sublime!
Been seeing a hell of a lot of these posters all along the M5 again, and it got me wondering, because I am genuinely curious.
What, do you believe, is the worst thing that could possibly happen if we actually got an overarching ruling party that isn't the ANC? I've heard so many 'fears' regarding 'losing' the ANC, and I am keen to hear what you believe these consequences could be.
Some of the more surprising ones I heard were Apartheid 2.0, more brutal law enforcement, a return of the death penalty, less support for those in need - is this actually a belief?
Guys, nooit! Please, don't be the person indicated in green on the road. Cape Town roads are bad enough as it is! If you don't know this is a thing, please raise your hands in the comments so the community can do its thing. Saw a Fender-bender where the doos have the audacity to argue this isn't how circles work.
The mere fact we must have signs on CPT roads to explain this.......
I'll come out and say it, Musiala is my favourite player (from a long list of historical favourites). The injury really rocked him, and I genuinely hope he recovers him form well and avoids crazy injuries in future. Thing is, I haven't seen "this" Musiala make a return yet, and I hope he does soon - the one with this urge and tenacity to play; who makes the impossible runs and takes the shot often! I really really hope his prime is still ahead of him, because he's something special!
I'm in Plumstead. I feel like every other month, there is some "critical maintenance" required on our grid, and we also just came off a 12-hour (which was more like 14) outage a few weeks ago! When I was in Milnerton, this never happened.

What! Freaking! Gives!

Twelve hours without power is a joke! It's like loadshedding without the sense of community and gees!
Does this maintenance ever actually have an end date? Is someone sabotaging the grid?
Anyone planning on watching the Germany game this evening with extra space? Will bring wine!

Club statement deny reports on personal terms agreed with Olise and his agents, pointing at relationship with Bayern ❗️

“In response to reports in various media outlets regarding an alleged interest from our club in Bayern player Michael Olise, Real Madrid wishes to state that it has not had any direct or indirect contact with the aforementioned player, his agents”.

“Real Madrid also wish to highlight the excellent institutional relationship it maintains with Bayern Munich — with whom it shares a long history of mutual respect, collaboration and admiration. The reports on deal agreed are not reality”.

“Both clubs have always maintained a relationship based on trust and mutual respect, reflected in the shared conviction that any potential interest in a player belonging to the other club must be dealt with first between the entities themselves in accordance with the principles of institutional loyalty that have historically governed the relations between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid”, club statement reports. 🔥
At this point, reporters are even asking if Sané will still play/starting 11, and Nagelsmann insists yes. I don't get it. I really hope he plays well, but I just don't see it.

Thrilled to see Musiala get on the score sheet and make some magical dribbles! Also really great performance by the rest of the Bayern squad - so sad that Karl and Gnarbry aren't here for this tournament!

On that note, is this the Brown where all the transfer rumours are coming from? Gotta say, he's made some really good runs and has a great eye! I'm excited to see what his future looks like!

Congrats to Bayern players, congrats to Germany on a great victory!
I was one of the few who were sad to see Sané go - I always appreciated his tenacity and his touches, but today I got to see all the criticism for myself. It almost feels like a 10-man Germany might have been more successful than with him on the pitch.
Nagelsmann left him on to give him a chance to prove the doubters wrong, but wow, that game had very few redeeming moments for him. Ultimately Bayern made the right decision to let him go - it's such a damn shame that Gnarbry isn't here instead! Nevertheless, good game today, glad to see the Bayern stars shine like this!
