Had a visit with my MM specialist today, almost 2 hours away from home. The nurse who took my vitals looked really familiar. Turns out he was the nurse who performed my ASCT! He looked it up in my records to confirm. My 2 year ASCT-versary is next month — and he has since switched jobs and facilities…so it was pretty cool to randomly see him again.

Have you had any cool experiences in your own MM health care?

I have u/AntoineNara’s Everything Purple TPC to share. I added (surprise) a whale, which looks purple to me…but another friend says it is blue…it’s purple-ISH?

Would you like to add your own purple shade to this TPC? Comment below, be flaired, be able to send US or WW.

I’m feeling low today, but getting some happy mail certainly helps!

Thank you, u/Ok_Reveal2698 for your sweet postcard!

u/FollowingTheBeat, I think this is the “fishiest” postcard I’ve ever gotten! (The whole front is fish, y’all!) The sticker bomb are great and I especially like the little doodle you drew!

Merci, u/AntoineNara, for making me the first recipient of your anything purple TPC! Can’t wait to add my bit and send it on! Oh and the POSTMARK! It has an owl (I love Owls) 🦉 and says “Special Delivery by Owl Post!” To get THAT today, on September 1…that was its own MAGIC!

I’m having a rough time here lately…I’m thinking maybe I’m unwanted. Someone has complained about my daily posts, 3 people have complained about recent thank you posts, and maybe I’m not a part of this community like I thought I was. I need you to be frank with me. If the community is tired of me, I’ll go, no resistance. I’m not trying to host a pity party. It is genuinely difficult to judge or understand in a community in which one doesn’t normally communicate in person whether or not one belongs.

ETA: Thanks, y’all. I’m going to leave this up, in case I get worried again.

Here is u/Marchbook’s original post about this card. It has gone to 3 people so far, and is ready for a 4th. Please be flaired to claim with recent activity in the sub. If WW and claiming, please be flaired over 50. (Or DM me if you are well known.)
