53F, 1 1/2 years post ASCT. I have been on Revlimid on and off since…but in March and again in June, I got infections so severe that I had to be hospitalized each time. Each has occurred within 72 hours of resuming Revlimid, so it seems that these are related (to both the docs and myself.) Each time I’ve come home with a tunneled cath and administered IV antibiotics for several weeks.
If this has been your experience, what if any other treatment /maintenance options have you been considering? I know Rev is likely the best option, but it’s not the best option for me.
edit to Add:for my circumstances, this is nothing communicable that masks or gloves would prevent. Bacterial infection, but one that is related to staph, which is present on our bodies at all times.
