100 days of using this set up, Arch+Niri+DMS. As a long time Linux user (16yrs), and an almost compulsive distro hopper, this set up has been the most enjoyable and the most comfortable to use in all that time. I love everything about it. The look and feel. The ease of the scrolling windows, the keybinds... Hats off to all the teams at Arch, Niri and at Dank.
When I put on Netflix, it plays for 10-30 seconds, then goes blank for a few seconds, then comes back again, and is fine for the rest of the episode/film. Does it every time, without fail. If I use the Netflix app on my (LG) TV, it's always fine.
Anyone have any idea why it's doing it?
A question for the medical bods among us. I've been using a Flair Neo Flex for a few years and I could always have my morning coffee without issue. My flex broke so I bought a Delonghi Stilosa as a quick solution for my espresso fix, and now after my first coffee I get acid and a weird feeling in my stomach. The only thing that has changed is the machine. The beans are the same. The ratio is the same for the shot and the drink is the same flat white, so what gives? Any ideas, you clever people?
Gutted. Absolutely gutted. Just using as normal, as I have twice a day, every day. I wasn't even pressing that hard. I was just purging the water after the brew.
Can you buy just the frame? I don't need anything else.
How do I turn these off? It's really annoying that it pops up during the episode we're watching, rather than during the credits, like it does on Netflix etc.
Updated to 360 yesterday. Used an app at lunchtime to watch something, then wanted to rewind BBC1 for the local weather. The channel had been left on BBC1, but it wouldn't rewind. I could do this on the old system. Is this a fault or the normal behaviour? Really not happy if this is how it works in 360?
Just set up a new contract with free Netflix with ads. We already pay for Netflix and we want to keep it ad free. The guy on the phone said just link the accounts, but how does this work in practise?
Where in the file system can I find the ArchLinux wallpaper used during the boot process on Gnome? Tried to find the same one online, but no joy so far. I want to add it to grub, so that it looks the same throughout the boot process. It must been on the system, but my inner Holmes has failed me.

In Gnome/KDE I just hit the calculator key to bring up the window. I want the same function in Niri, but the keybind in settings won't allow me to create this. What do I do to get it working?

When I open Firefox it sits on top of all other open windows. I can then no longer scroll my windows to get to where I want. If I only have Firefox open and want to spawn a new window, it opens behind Firefox. I want Firefox to open maximized instead of half a window. What am I doing wrong here?

Did a fresh install of 13 last night (KDE). I've noticed that there is what is best described as a background flicker of light on moving the mouse when on wayland. If I boot into x11, it isn't there. It isn't a bright light, but it's very noticeable (even with my old, dodgy eyes).
Any idea what could be causing this?
Display and system info in pics. Dropping refresh rate to 60 makes no difference.

I think my GPU (Radeon 6600) is starting to crack. Getting some weird things happening over the last few weeks. Serious lag in games, crashes, kernel panic once or twice. So if it does die, what do you recommend? My budget is super tight. Heard very good things about the Intel B580. Any thoughts?
