I’ve been experiencing a weird issue since installing macOS Golden Gate.

I’m using an official Apple external Magic Trackpad (the Lightning version, in grey), and I normally select multiple files in Finder by clicking on one file and then dragging my finger up or down on the trackpad to select additional files.

Since Golden Gate, when I try to do this, instead of selecting multiple files, Finder starts dragging the file I clicked on. I also get a colored rectangle around the inside of the Finder window, as if Finder is trying to create a selection area.

I’m also using Apple’s numeric keyboard (the black one), and I just noticed something strange: if I turn the keyboard off, the old selection behavior starts working again, but only for a few seconds before the problem comes back. same happens when i turn back the keyboard again ...

I’ve tried turning both the Trackpad and the keyboard off and on several times, but it doesn’t make any difference.

I also opened my MacBook Pro, since I normally use it in desktop mode with the external Trackpad and keyboard, and I have exactly the same issue with the MacBook’s built-in trackpad and keyboard. I completely disconnected the external Trackpad and keyboard, so they definitely aren’t involved.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue since Golden Gate?

Hi, it seems that private relay only works with Safari from what I know. But I have weird Issues on WiFi with private relay in online games for players to join me , but not on cellular ..

Why I think private relay has something to do with it and not my WiFi is that if I stay on WiFi and turn off private relay, players find me way more easily and faster. It feels like nowadays it can affect games also, or maybe I’m wrong I dunno.

I can confirm that Siri AI works in France for me , I installed IOS 27 beta a day after the dev beta released, cos i wanted to have feedback , Iphone 17 pro max , Indexing took more thabn 3 days , and Just 1 or 2 hours ago , my phone went unusually hot and the new Siri app was there . it has some technical difficulties, but i dont touch the phone right now, i added a magsafe cooler on the back . So people in the EU do not worry it's exactly like Apple intelligence Beta roll out , Apple is letting new people in by waves .

I will test more things to see what is mandatory to get SIRI AI to stay on the Iphone, but i can confirm already that setting back the main langage to French for me doesn't deactivate SIRI AI ( but it works only in English ).
