I’m not only excited for the start of Phantasm fall but Chelsea comes back from her break tomorrow. It’s gonna be really interesting what Graessle thinks of the Phantasm films. I’ve only seen the first one and one of the other sequels. That first movie is just a vibe and an experience. It should be a fun series of podcasts. Especially since those movies have a drastically different feel than the saw movies. Strap yourselves in and get ready for the prog rock of horror guys. And lastly, I missed Chelsea and I’m glad she’s back, but that was a well deserved break that she needed for her well being.

I just put on Sleepy Hollow and I love this movie so much. I remember watching it in theaters when I was 17. This was when I was first kind of becoming obsessed with Horror. I love how it’s a perfect example of Gothic Horror. The opening scene and Danny Elfman’s swelling score as the Carriage is traveling to Sleepy Hollow let you know that you are about to witness something special. Plus the cast is phenomenal.

Which horror movie franchises do you think are the most consistent in terms of quality. Like which ones have more good movies than bad ones?

So I was looking for something to watch on prime video and noticed Frogs is on there but it’s leaving in 3 days. I’m tempted to listen to the podcast episode James and Chelsea did on it after I finish the movie.

What’s a sub genre of horror that you’d like to see more of? And what are some that you think they need to do away with?

I’m curious what was the first horror film that you guys saw and what was the film that made you love them. When I was young I remember watching Halloween 2 on tv because I woke up while I was at a sleepover. I used to think horror was scary, but then I watched Wes Craven’s New Nightmare in 1999 when I was 17 and I think after that I fell in love with horror and wanted to watch as many as I could.

So I had to work last night so I’m just starting the awards from last night. Chelsea’s dress was fantastic. Her, James and Zoran all looked great. I’m excited to watch the show.

So I found dead meat last year. And I’m glad I found the channel. What I love about the channel is they feel like a family for people who are weirdos and outcasts who love horror like me. I’m extremely socially awkward and I feel like an outsider sometimes. Except for when I’m watching or learning about horror movies. And that’s why James and Chelsea are awesome. They really do make horror seem like a safe haven for people who are different.

We need someone to make a supercut edit of all the doctor references on the podcast. Obviously you have all the references to Lawrence “I’m a doctor” Gordon. There’s the cube podcast and the oddity podcast. That would be the greatest video ever

So I’m watching Final Destination Bloodlines and I remember how much fun seeing this movie in theaters was. So I was wondering what’s some of the best and worst theater experiences you’ve had with horror films?

What are your top 10 most sympathetic horror characters. At first I was just limit it to villains but I figured expanding it to just characters in general was more interesting.

I know we always talk about horror movies that everyone loves, but what are some that you think are under appreciated. Or some that just need more love in general .

I noticed that not only is this the introduction to Bela it’s the first time Bobby calls Dean an Idjit. I always crack up when Sam loses his shoe.

I just rented Rumpelstiltskin so I could watch it before the podcast episode with we hate movies. I’ve never seen it before but I remember seeing the cover at blockbuster and other video stores when I was younger. Should be entertaining.

So back when they released grind house for some odd reason I never watched Planet Terror but I’ve seen Death Proof. This is my first time watching Planet Terror. Holy Hell does this movie have a stacked cast. I’m hoping it’s good.

I just watched the psycho 98 kill count and Chelsea did an amazing job. I just want to take this time to show my appreciation for her. I know she’s suffering from burnout and I hope she takes as much time as she needs to recharge her battery. Her health is more important than the channel . But I appreciate all the hard work she does and all the research episodes she has done are some of my favorite episodes of the podcast. And I love all the games. I know the channel has helped me a lot with my mental health. Chelsea we all love and appreciate you so so much.
