I learned how to draw Galaxies ONLY for this, lol
Following up on me not thinking Jax is Transfem
I think with Jax specifically his character holds more weight WITH the ambiguity of his gender identity, a sort of "He was never allowed to figure it out, so we don't get to have undeniable confirmation either" because there are people out there who face that. I've seen this so many times where I am, people in constant denial out of fear and self hatred until they ultimately crash. You never get to fully know these people, but neither do they, and that's a tragedy in itself, and it goes mostly unnoticed because a lot of the people who go through it do mask their denial by being hateful people.
I don't see Jax as Transfem
- I have nothing against the idea of him being Transfem, that just doesn't seem like what it is.
Jax is male presenting IRL in the end, and i feel like it wouldn't have been if he were definitely Transfem, I believe that he was more struggling with wanting to embrace femininity for himself, despite the fact that it was demonized in his household. His brain has been shown to go into extremes, and I've been there before, when a parent is pushing harder and harder so instead of saying what it is you exactly feel you make it more extreme when you verbalize it. He probably did say something along the lines of "Maybe I don't WANT to be a man" to his mother, because that's the extreme of "maybe I don't want to be masculine" when really what he desired was the ability to be himself, and be feminine, but when he was laughed at it completely tainted the entire idea of femininity as a whole. Also, saying something more extreme than what's really going on in your mind is common when you really just want someone to take you seriously for once, ESPECIALLY when you feel belittled or ignored by them, because if something is bigger it's more likely to be noticed.
[For Hire] I'm very new to this
Hello, you can call me Hermes, Atlas, or Donnie. I'm attempting to start doing commissions so I can try to raise money for projects I'm working on, however I'm not exactly sure how to do this, so please forgive me if I'm doing it wrong.
I don't have an actual gallery yet, but my art can be seen on the account listed and anything on my profile:
https://www.tumblr.com/thevoid23?source=share
I'm more comfortable working in a cartoonish style, but I believe I can be pretty flexible. I'm more experienced in traditional art.
I prefer to be contacted either on here, or on discord (My discord is brokensoul3wdgaster)
I do not have an established pricing, but payment would have to be through PayPal or Cash app
