Oil leaks--2017 Outback, 91k miles

I believe this is a known issue with this model year Subaru engine. Does anyone have any insight into fixing the cam case reseal and oil control valve leaks?

Subaru won't own up to this and says the car is too old and has too high of mileage on it for them to consider any sort of assistance to get the repairs done.

These are both going to be expensive fixes as it requires removing the engine but ... Is one more serious than the other or should both be done? Should we "trust" the mechanics that this is happening or how do we verify this (we live in a rural area, no dealership within 2 hours).

Has anyone dealt with Subaru and this engine issue before?
