Michael Donovan (1953-2026) voice of Ryoga Hibiki from the 1989 Ranma ½, Zōken Matō from Fate/Zero and the Heaven's Feel films has passed away

This has come under the radar for most of us as it's been 5 months since then, but Canadian voice actor Michael Donavan, who voiced Ryoga Hibiki in the 1989 anime adaptation of Ranma ½, Risei Kotomine and Zōken Matō from Fate/Zero and the Heaven's Feel films (Zōken Matō appeared in them), has sadly passed away on March 4, 2026. This was only through a mention in the SAG-AFTRA newsletters of guild members who had recently passed on, according to that information.

May he rest in peace.
