Hi all!! If this post is in the wrong place please let me know and where I should be posting it! So I know nothing of computers but I need a new one! I’ve had a MacBook Air for a few years now and as expected it’s going to shit. So I need a new one! I have a few very specific needs / wants and I’d like recommendations based on those needs. I’m a writer(this is important later), Sims 4 player (sometimes with mods) and movie watcher. I’d like something that can accommodate all of these things. My MacBook ran Sims but only incredibly loudly and while heating up very very much which I assume is not ideal. I’d like it to be able to run sims with little no issues, mostly with overheating and crashing or glitching alot. My MacBook also had issues running movies lol, anytime I would play Amazon prime movies it would lag very very much. My next request is something with nice keys. My MacBook (I mention it so much because this is the only other computer I’ve had lol) has very shallow keys that don’t clack and also don’t have alot of sensitivity I guess and I don’t like either of those things. I’d like ideally something with quite a bit of clack, I like to know I’m pressing the keys if you get what I mean but not so obnoxious like those keyboards in middle school that we used in typing class lol. And my last need is affordability. I’m a working mom who’s trying to save up to move out of my own mother’s house so I need something that isn’t a gajillion dollars. Thank you so much in advance!
TLDR: I need an affordable computer with nice clacky keys, can run Sims 4 and other games and can do normal tasks like run movies. Thank you in advance!!

Like the title says, I tried to make a pot today and it took awhile to heat up and when it did it immediately started sputtering and shooting coffee everywhere. Pls help.
