Friendly advice, if you switch to wearing shoes 100% of the time remember to constantly stretch

I have tarsal tunnel in both of my feet. After 8 months of no improvement I decided to switch to wearing shoes 100% of the time. It has helped my feet significantly, however it has caused so many other problems up the chain.

Wearing shoes all the time caused my calves to tighten up a bunch. I now can barely walk down stairs because I shake so bad (I think it’s because my calves make my foot lift too early when taking steps down the stairs). It has also caused some hamstring issues because the tight calves pull on my hamstrings. It’s nothing significant and everything has started to get better since I started stretching again, but I really wish someone warned me about this before I switched.

Negative EMG. Could I still have NTOS?

I got an EMG and it came up as negative. Honestly kinda hoping it’s TOS because otherwise I have tendonitis everywhere on my arms. My biggest issue is with my wrist and my fingers. There’s a constant pressure on my wrist that gets worse with exercise. My fingers have a strange painful feeling as well.

I also have horrible allodynia all around my elbows, however I’m not sure if that’s because of TOS or because of a triceps injury I suffered last year.

Could this still be nTOS or is this likely a bunch of other issues put together?

Shaking while walking down stairs?

I recently started zoloft because i’ve been dealing with some severe health issues that have really impacted my mental health.

Zoloft has done wonders for my mental health, however recently I’ve noticed I have extreme shakiness doing any slow and controlled movements. It’s specifically bad when I’m walking down the stairs. I have to hold onto the rails in fear of falling. I also shake whenever do eccentric exercises such as slow curls, even with just a few lbs.

This all started when I started zoloft, however it very much could be another symptom of my health issues as they are muscle related. I really don’t want to get off of zoloft if I don’t have to so I want to see if anyone else has had these symptoms or if it’s my health issues that are causing it.

Been doing PT for bilateral plantar fasciitis for 8 months. Turns out i actually have tarsal tunnel. How do I change my treatment? Can I still get better without surgery?

Been dealing with chronic pain in my feet for around 8 months now. My doctor initially said it was plantar fasciitis but after countless PT sessions I’ve finally learned that it’s a nerve entrapment issue. Got an EMG done and basically felt nothing on the bottom of my feet.

How should I go about changing my treatment? I’ll obviously talk to my doctor about it, but wondering what other people’s experience is with this?

Thyroids issues causing tendons to not heal?

For the past year I have been dealing with sever tendon issues. I have torn multiple tendons and have constant tendonitis popping up left and right. I’m going down the hormone/autoimmune route on what may be causing this and hyperthyroidism came up as a possibility. I got my TSH levels tested and it came up as 0.74 which is within normal ranges, however based on my research it sounds like there could still be some issues.

Could thyroid issues cause tendons to not heal properly? Has anyone experienced this or is this a dead end?

Multiple tendon tears at the same time

Hi, I have a similar disability to EDS where my tendons are incredibly prone to injury. I have not gotten an official diagnosis yet, however I suffer many of the same symptoms. I am currently suffering from torn triceps, biceps, and something with my feet. It has really wrecked my life as I am pretty much unable to do anything.

Has anyone here had to deal with numerous tendon tears at the same time? How did you deal with it? Were you ever able to get pain free and function semi normally?

Will immobilizing a tear 3 months after it happened allow it to heal?

I believe I tore my plantar fascia 3 months ago. The doctor initially incorrectly diagnosed it as plantar fasciitis and I believe that with all the stretching and exercises I was doing that it actually made it worse.

If I immobilize myself now will it still heal? Or is it too late?

Micron gain porn. Put $400 in a few years back when I was just getting into investing. Not a lot of money but huge percentage.
