My batchmates argument on restrictions on 1st year.

Listen, ragging utna ni hai college mein but jitna bhi hai, nahi hona chahiye.

I have talked to my batchmates about whether it should be done or not but surprisingly sab in acts ko justify karte hai.

Jab 1st year ayenge to wo idhar udhar ghumna chahenge jisse M.G. aur Cafeteria crowded hoga. To iska solution ye nahi ki ek aur Cafeteria khol do ? Nahi, 1st year ko allow hi mat kro.

Baki college for ex NIT's mein bache har jagah se aate hai to wo samajhdaar hote hai, but Jharkhand ke bache samajhdaar ni hote to unhe daant ke samjhana padta hai

Jharkhand ke bache chappal mein ghumte hai, unhe aadat dalwana padta hai joote hai. Aur joote and smart casual wala restrictions hai to 2nd year mein aake unhe sense of privilege feel hoga.

I need to be more sharp with my arguments and expressions to teach these guys but still it feels like talking to robots programmed to act in a certain way.

Motives of our posts against interaction culture

We don't post any misleading stuff here and nothing is against college, we have only talked about things that actually happens in this college and should not.

Those who are coming to this college and are overthinking consequences are advised to calm down because their are solutions and we are trying to teach you things we learned in an year.

And remember, ragging aapke sath hota ya nahi hota ye aapka choice hai. Agar aap bravery dikhayenge iske against to aapko kuch nahi hoga

Regarding dress code of for 1st year

When an anti ragging complaint was done by us, Dean R.K. Verma has personally told us that there is no dress code of B.I.T. Sindri and it is all done by seniors.

We requested him to post a formal notice against this code and he agreed but no further action was taken.

College don't officially post this because they are afraid of their image. As simple as that.

Once a senior insulted my friend near Lecture and some seniors commented on him. He slapped them and dragged them to admin building holding their hair.

Seniors in BIT Sindri

Recently(11/08/2026), a group of seniors entered a hostel room while students were studying. When the students refused to open the gate, the seniors forcibly broke the gate and entered the room. The students were subsequently subjected to severe ragging and physical assault.

The purpose of this Instagram post is not to target or provoke anyone, but to create awareness about the seriousness of the ragging situation at BIT Sindri and to bring the matter to the immediate attention of the higher authorities. Such incidents require strict action to ensure the safety and dignity of students within the hostel premises.
