To the Fathers:

I just choose to pay as I go. When your children are doing well and you start to see your upbringing in them has developed into a decent human being, you can see the opportunity to step back. You have planted the seed and now you can watch the growth.

No one really ever taught us a single way to raise a child. Punishment was handed down to me for discipline sake. It was effective until I just out grew the pain they could dish out. For me, it's just hard to hit my kids. Those of us separated from a child know the reigns can slacken when it comes to discipling our kid. It's best practice to discipline yourself and set the standard.

When you are away from your kid a sense of duty will come. Well, you wouldn't want to disgrace yourself before those eyes that depend on you; would ya? Then you truly have a reason to live for. Your time should be spent building skills and being invested in a brighter future.

Thanks for sharing in the struggle,
