Chat, how do we feel about Longan Dragon coming to Kingdom?
Last week, I went to the market for my weekly restock of the house, but I couldn't find my Tyson Any'Tizers Crispy Boneless Chicken Bites, and I was disappointed. I thought at the time they were out of stock, and it was no big deal. The next day, I had learned that the market chain had discontinued the selling of Tyson Products at their store due to price increase. This was surprising to me, but it isn't like this store was a big-name like Target or Walmart - it was a regional-chain that could only be found in a select few states and they preferred to "keep their prices lower". Respectful, but unfortunate.
I go to Target because I figure they'd still have it there, and they do. However, the packaging looked different. Normally there's a darker-blue stripe over the food name but this one had a lighter blue. It read exactly the same as the boldened title from the first paragraph, so I figured it was no big deal. However, when I got home, it tasted different.
I can hear you now, reader. "Just suck it up, this happens all the time!" The thing is, I have a sensitive stomach. I don't usually jump between brands otherwise I find myself getting nauseous. This is even a problem when I go to new restaurants (and I hate it!).
So I decided to do a little fact checking. I managed to find a out-of-stock Tyson Chicken listing on Amazon so I could grab the nutritional facts and I went to the Tyson website to figure out the new nutritional information. A part of me hoped I was just crazy and it'd be the exact same, but it wasn't!
| Original Nutritional Value | New Nutritional Value | Difference |

| Protein 14g 28% | Protein 15g 30% | 1g more Protein |
I understand that some of these changes can be seen as good, such as less sodium, more protein, and less carbohydrates. But I don't eat this brand because I want to be healthy, I eat this brand because it tastes good.
So, Reddit, I come to you. Is there an alternative brand? I've been experimenting with a brand called Perdue but it upsets my stomach. Am I screwed?
I had finally upgraded my Hall of Ancient Heroes to level 100, but all my skills are still all over the place. Ideally, I'd like to level up each one to level 100, but that would require the cookie either being in the hall of heroes themselves or to be level 100.
There are 8 classes or roles in the game with 5 cookies of each type needing to be level 100. Any recommendations? Here's what I plan to do but I need a few fill-ins.
Defense: Hollyberry Cookie (PVE), Financier Cookie (Alt. + Arcade Arena),
Charge: Burning Spice Cookie (PVE), Dark Cacao Cookie, Pitaya Dragon (PVE?+Preference[see flair])
Ambush: Silent Salt Cookie (Arena), Black Pearl Cookie (Guild Arena IIRC),
Magic: Dark Enchantress Cookie (Arena), Timekeeper Cookie (Arena), Fire Spirit Cookie (PVE), Shadow Milk Cookie (PVE?), [BLANK] [Moonlight or Frost?]
Ranged: Wind Archer (PVE), Golden Cheese (Preference), Twizzle Gummy Cookie (Arcade Arena), Caramel Arrow Cookie (Arcade ?), [BLANK]
Bomber: White Lily Cookie (Arena), Eternal Sugar Cookie (Arena), Prune Juice Cookie (Guild Arena [Dragon]), Povidone-Iodine Cookie (Meta rn), Sea Fairy Cookie (Guild Arena)
Support: Millennial Tree Cookie (Arena), Marshmallow Bunny Cookie (Arena), Cream Puff Cookie (Arcade Arena), Snapdragon Cookie (Arena + Preference), Cotton Cookie (Arcade Arena)
Healing: Pure Vanilla Cookie (Obvious), Sugar Swan Cookie (Obvious), Mystic Flour Cookie (Specific PVE), Litmus Cookie (Meta rn), [BLANK]
If anything here seems dubious, please comment below! I'd love guidance

Hello, I'm Shade. This isn't an ad or anything but I wanted to come here as someone who doesn't want AI to take my content. Especially since I commission people to draw things for me from time to time to put on my Welcome Screen.
I don't use a facecam, but I plan to eventually do Vtubing, and I especially don't want my character to be fed to AI.
I come here asking for advice. Would putting a filter over my stream do anything? Is this even the right place to ask this?
Anyone have a fix for this? Sometimes my game crashes when even loading up.
Yes, I'm aware what I'm playing on. But is anyone playing it on their phone experiencing this issue too?
Lost about halfway thru. I have all cookies except Golden Cheese (Still), Wind Archer, Stormbringer, and Doughael.
Generally, I just need a team for PVE in general. I checked the FAQ and saw nothing about exploration. Mods, spare me.
This small rant post, despite the deep red of the flair, is more somber. While this is written because of the Refreshers going up in price a little, this is more towards corporate America and capitalism as a whole.
I know I'm not as bad as others. Things could be way worse for me and others, but there's something about simple pleasantries becoming 81% (roughly) of a majority of the USA's minimum wage. I know there's a lot of people who can afford Starbucks and often make jokes about it being overpriced, but I'm starting to finally agree.
The original price of the Strawberry Acai Lemonade I would get was $5.70. For a lemonade, it seems pretty pricy. But for 2 years I was willing to pay that much for it. After seeing it go to $5.94, as little of a change that is, I'm worried about seeing a trend. It makes you wonder "What's in this thing to cost so much?"
There is a chance that it isn't the company itself but the government (tariffs), but that's a whole new can of worms I don't want to open up here.
The obvious solution is to make it at home, right? Well, I did manage to get my hands on the Starbucks Strawberry Acai Concentrate but no matter how I mix it, it never tastes the same. I tried 25% acai and 75% lemonade like I see the baristas mix it in one of the locations, even 50/50. If any baristas are reading this, do you have any recommendation for how to do it? I hope that doesn't go against the rules - if it does then ignore that.
I hope the price ultimately goes back because as someone with a minimum wage job myself, I don't want a full hour of time to go into one drink that isn't even fully coffee. It's just a shame... I hope that doesn't come off as entitled.
It's slightly off but I could believe it if he were doing a specific voice direction-
Edit: Reupload! Wrote the incorrect title!
Hello there, Cookie Runner! I'm Shade, a Ovenbreak player since 2017 and someone currently getting back into Kingdom as a day-1 player. A lot has changed in the time since I've played Kingdom and now, but that isn't this post's topic...
I'm making this post for any Ovenbreak-Returners or Only-Kingdom players that are now seeing Timekeeper and Croissant for the first time (yes, I'm aware they do make a brief appearance somewhere, but it's not their full story!) and want to know the story behind them. However, they either; A, don't want to get into Ovenbreak for one story; or B, don't want to watch an hour long video of all the cutscenes (I've been there).
Disclaimer: This will be a gentle recap of the four previous events involving the Time Balance Department. This current post will be going over: Time Relic Chaos!
If you're interested in reading it yourself, I'm getting all the information from cookierun.wiki!
Additionally: After covering Time Relic Chaos, I will explain the happenings of Operation: Now Hiring. I won't be doing a recap of the story since it's a recent update, but you can read all about it here if you're interested. It's just an explanation for why I'm not making this a 5-parter.
At the end of the post, you can find previous parts and the next post when made. Let's begin!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The Relic Management Department, expanded since last update.
Time Relic Chaos, despite what this being the final post of this saga, is not the final update of the Time Balance Department's story. This time, we're taking a focus on another department in the form of the Relic Management Division where Maple Taffy Cookie works. Unfortunately, to this very day, he is still not playable. However, we're introduced to a new sassy cookie in the form of Schneeball Cookie.
This event begins with Maple Taffy bringing in a whole new box of relics, excited to sort through them. One relic in particular catches Schneeball Cookie's eyes, "Are these millenial forest's grassroots? I've never seen this structure before. I'll have to break it open and see what's inside."
\"Grass Roots\" from the Millennial Forest, the relic surrounding the story thus far.
Maple Taffy immediately interjects, saying she shouldn't break every relic she comes across. She argues that all he does is put them on shelves, but studying them is important too. "Step away from this relic! Go do your studying, researching, or whatever. Shoo!"
"I will once you hand that to me! Come back here!" Schneeball says as we can assume a fight ensues.
Dark Fondue Cookie enters, "Why is the Relic Management Division always so... chaotic?" Once they explain the situation, she tells them, "I told you to research, not destroy the ruins. ... I am not feeling generous about this situation. I do things the way they are supposed to be done."
When Maple Taffy retorts, Dark Fondue reminds him of the time he was peeping around the Director's Office without permission and how he's yet to write a report, "A lot of our expenses go into this division and to be honest, most is to pay for the damaged items Schneeball Cookie cracked open."
Schneeball Cookie, examining a relic and about to crack it open.
While Maple Taffy is distracting Dark Fondue (I believe? Could be wrong), Schneeball Cookie takes the relic and examines it, "Fossils are relics with many secrets... Just one tap with this hammer and...!"
A Butterfly-shaped relic found within.
"If you break this, too, I'll file a claim to your division." Dark Fondue adds as they marvel over the new relic before them. Maple Taffy says he's never seen something like this before, pondering what era it could be from. "I don't know," Schneeball starts, "but it's definitely something I've never seen before. I wonder what it was for..."
"Yeah..." Maple Taffy continues, "There's something that looks like it can be pressed..." He presses it.
Maple Taffy Cookie: \"AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!\"
"And again... he got himself into trouble." Dark Fondue says... "Such a troublesome boss, I have! Er... I mean, this is a troubling matter." The two discuss what to do when Schneeball brings up that this is a great opportunity to promote her to the head of the department, but Dark Fondue states that only competent Cookies get promoted, "So, if you save Maple Taffy Cookie, maybe that qualifies you as head of this division."
"You know... You say the most sinister things with a smile on your face... Anyway, I'll get to work." Schneeball is right, FYI, Dark Fondue is creepy!
Inside the Relic, Maple Taffy Cookie's POV
Maple Taffy Cookie finds himself in a dark, spooky mansion. He describes its smell of old wood and dirt with cobwebs everywhere. He ponders if Schneeball Cookie is okay before the entire place shakes. On the outside, Schneeball Cookie is dismantling the relic and bashing it with the hammer. "I just need to remove the jeweled part without breaking the spring... Now, I'll try dismantling one of the wings."
She conducts various experiments to study the relic before being interrupted by a ringing noise. Following it leads her to a communication device, or some kind of equivalent to a phone. "What took you so long to answer it, Schneeball Cookie?!"
It's Maple Taffy on the other side, thankful the call works cross-dimentionally(?) while Schneeball reminds him of what Dark Fondue wants him to do for her (paperwork, etc). He insists that it isn't the time for that and that they should figure out a way to get him out. When he explains the rumbling and she explains her dismantling, Maple Taffy Cookie theorizes that he is in a world inside the relic rather than another dimension.
Schneeball Cookie continuing to break the relic down.
"How much time has passed there. Anything unusual since I was sucked in?" He asks to her response, "It hasn't been long since you've been trapped there, and nothing unusual... I guess the space feels more comfortable and pleasant without you?" He laughs it off, but hears something faint:
"*Sniffle*.... I'm scared..." Maple Taffy says it sounds like a Cookie crying. The signal on the device falters, so he goes to investigate the crying. This is when Maple Taffy Cookie meets Onion Cookie.
"Tea has been prepared in the parlor." A strange cookie begins, we know her as Truffle Cookie but Maple Taffy Cookie is weirded out. Maple Taffy Cookie is trying to get their attention, but they don't address him, "I've been following them, but it seems they don't see me. I've never seen a relic like this. I think I might be in someone's memory."
That's when Maple Taffy notices the relic itself in the memory on Truffle Cookie as a brooch. Schneeball mumbles something about there being nothing much left to break, and Maple Taffy Cookie freaks out, "WHAT! How... How much did you break???" Schneeball responds, "Well, there's now a small spec that remains..."
He begs her not to break it, insisting that he's found a diary inside. After convincing her otherwise, she goes to get a microscope to try to do further studying. That's when he loses connection and something interesting happens: "You seem very busy... How about a cup of tea?"
Truffle Cookie just spoke to Maple Taffy Cookie and he's surprised. She explains how time and space here is interesting and introduces herself and Onion Cookie from the past, asking where he came from. He explains how her brooch is a relic he currently has and she finds it interesting, "Anyway, this is the place where my favorite moments are held. It contains my favorite nights and collection. Sometimes I get the joy of meeting a stranger like you."
They begin discussing their interests and Maple Taffy's collection. Meanwhile on the outside, on the shell the relic Schneeball Cookie discovers something: "It's the relic's instructions!" She reads, "A spacetime archive... I'm going to have to restore it to get it working again."
"The key spins when you press the button!" She says, Maple Taffy is heard yelling inside, "AHHH! I feel sick!"
Maple Taffy Cookie returns to Schneeball Cookie's Dismay.
"Maybe I should've just let him stay there." He laughs at her comment, "I knew you'd save me, Schneeball Cookie!" She sighs and says, "Right. Yeah, I sometimes feel bad about my competence."
They begin discussing what to do going forward, Maple Taffy excited to tell Dark Fondue Cookie about the interesting relic so he won't have to make a statement letter about going into the Director's Office. Schneeball doubts that, but insists he tells her about the inside. But this conversation eventually devolves into fighting again. Maple Taffy Cookie wants to display it while Schneeball Cookie wants to continue researching it.
"Err...! This is not fair! I'm so going to take your place one day, Maple Taffy Cookie!"
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Schneeball Cookie's story may be short, but that's because this update has a part 2 with a focus on Marble Bread Cookie. It involves each of the departments and Marble Bread just going around cleaning, but we still get more development.
The Underground Pipes of the TBD.
After doing his work for the day, Marble Bread Cookie returns to the Faciltiy Management Division as a series of calls from all departments. He goes to each department via underground pipes (that are only meant for emergencies) to clean.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is the final and most recent update to the TBD story, which connects directly with the Draconis Immortalis Story of Cookie Run Ovenbreak. There's a LOT to get into with that, so I suggest you read about it yourself!
The basic run down is after Longan Dragon's stunt with trying to break through the temporal barrier, the TBD is under a lot of heavy stress and pressure. So, Timekeeper Cookie enacts a mass hiring campaign. This update acted as an introduction for newcomers to Ovenbreak to the TBD, going through each department and what they do.
The Orientation Video made by Devsisters as a Trailer for the Update
This update includes Dark Fondue Cookie and Pain De champagne Cookie as playable characters from the Cookie Resources Devision and the Emergency Neutralization Division (END) respectively.
In short, Human Resources for Dark Fondue Cookie and END being for repairing the timeline.
You can read about the event here if you missed it, but there's one key takeaway from the story we receive besides the TBD's side of the aftermath of the Draconic War.
"It's about time for us to see what kind of powers are able to pass through the veiled border. Better get straight to analyzing!"
"I hate unnecessary effort... Hopefully, they'll pick things up quickly so there's less work for me! After all, there are some very interesting events on the horizon. Every little contribution might matter more than they realize."
Personal Comment: By this time, we knew Timekeeper Cookie was coming to Cookie Run Kingdom. We know the first comment above is about Millennial Tree Cookie sprouting from a flower, but I can't help but wonder if she's talking about other cookies in other timelines as well. I don't want to say anything too out there, but it's just food for thought.

The Time Registry Division, where a majority of this event takes place.
In this update, we explore a new part of the Time Balance Department (TBD) through the eyes of a new recruit: Coffee Candy Cookie! It's her first day on the job and she's really excited about it, mostly the opportunity to help other Cookies.
The main purpose of this story was to expand the Time Balance Department and introduce more characters. After this set of paragraphs down to the next picture, it's honestly filler.
We meet Dark Fondue Cookie in this update, who doesn't become a playable Cookie until two updates later. She introduces herself to Coffee Candy Cookie and asks about her previous job as a journalist. "Don't take this personally... You are aware any matters related to TBD are confidential, right?"
Coffee Candy agrees and promises to do a good job before Dark Fondue assigns her to the TIme Registry Division. Here, we meet another cookie introduced in this update: Baguette Cookie who is the head manager of this department and Coffee Candy Cookie's new boss. Dark Fondue introduces Coffee Candy Cookie to Baguette, assuring she will do a good job as a previous-journalist. But Baguette is not to keen on this...
"This is a new job, and we do not write articles here. You will have to learn everything from the beginning." Dark Fondue asks Coffee Candy if she's heard any rumors, specifically about how only a select few employees are assigned to the Time Registry Division because of how strict Baguette Cookie can be. But Dark Fondue assures her that she'll be fine and likes doing things that way.
Baguette Cookie judging every action Coffee Candy Cookie does.
"I am quite certain I advised you to not do it that way. You will damage the records if you cut it like that. Cut the bottom of the document, not the top."
Coffee Candy Cookie struggles to keep up, apologizing but saying she's doing her best to learn as quickly as possible. Baguette keeps rattling off rules: "The TRD Instructions - Chapter 1, Section 1 - All staff must have quick eyes and hands. We classify and sort all times printed by the Time Recorder. For every divergence occurred, we cut and organize. ... your job as a newcomer is to write down what you have learned in your task records."
While learning, Coffee Candy Cookie keeps getting lectured by Baguette Cookie, "The TRD instructions - Chapter 1, Section 2 - A Staff must observe, but not judge." Coffee Candy goes on to explain her hopes of helping other Cookies, but she asks her to explain. "When I was a journalist, there were so many incidents that I wished I could prevent. I thought the TBD would be the only place to overcome those limits!"
Baguette wants her to be specific, "What is the standard for deciding what to prevent? Wouldn't it be subjective?" This is when an event happens on the Time Recorder and Coffee Candy freaks out about sorting it out, "The TRD instructions - Chapter 1, Section 3 - A staff must never take their eyes off the Time Recorder!"
The Time Recorder, a machine that keeps track of every jump in time.
After Coffee Candy Cookie finishes her tasks, Baguette Cookie compliments her before stating he has business to take care of in another division. She ushers her to stay focused while she's gone. When she finally leaves, Coffee Candy Cookie relaxes, thinking about how nothing is going her way and she didn't think she'd be stuck doing repetitive tasks in a gloomy office. Before she's able to snap back to work, she starts to feel sleepy and dozes off.
A returning cookie wakes her up, "Wh-what?! I wasn't sleeping!" She looks up to meet String Gummy Cookie from the Time Investigation Division. He asks where is Baguette Cookie and why he's left a rookie alone in the office. When she asks what he's here for, he says "I recieved some information on groups who are messing up the timeline to capture rare animals. They recently stole a dragon egg. I need to catch them!"
When she looks around, she's not able to find it. But she's worried that because she dozed off, the information could have fallen into a time rift. String Gummy calms her down, which gives her an idea. She goes to Croissant Cookie for help, but unfortunately her boss was there too...
Croissant Cookie and Baguette Cookie are consulting about something, her mentioning that "It seemed fine before..." as Baguette states that if they don't fix it right away, it will cause bigger problems. Coffee Candy Cookie, who's hiding at this point, is worried they're talking about her. Once Baguette Cookie leaves, Croissant finds Coffee Candy and asks what she's doing. This is when Coffee Candy asks if she can use the Timecraft. However, it's out of fuel, so she'll need to help Croissant Cookie first.
She explains to Croissant that she wants to travel back in time to the moment she dozed off so she could solve the problem she caused. Croissant Cookie commends her, but reminds her that it's the most dangerous way to fix this problem. "Wouldn't it be best to solve problems as quickly as possible?" Coffee Candy asks, but Croissant states, "[but] you eliminate the possibility of solving problems on your own! I used to think like that too when I had just been scouted by the TBD."
While they worked on filling the Timecraft with fuel, Croissant would explain how when she first joined, she wanted to prove herself to everyone, "Then... Guess what happened? I broke the central clock in the Clock Square!" She also explains the events of "Mission! Save the Future!" By the time it's done, Coffee Candy Cookie isn't sure about taking the Timecraft.
"I've realized that the easiest route right in front of me might not lead to the most valuable journey." She came to this after Croissant's story, to which she was glad. So in order to solve this problem, Coffee Candy Cookie figures she can go to the Relic Management Division in order to find clues about what the Cookies plan to do with the stolen dragon egg.
Coffee Candy Cookie begins to look for Maple Taffy Cookie, but it turns out Baguette Cookie is also in this division, so after she leaves Coffee Candy Cookie takes the opportunity to ask Maple Taffy about the Dragon Egg. At first he was happy to comply until a communicator pipes up:
"*Pshsss* This is an emergency regarding the Director! There is so many documents to be approved right now, but the director has disappeared. It seems the Director lost an old cogwheel, thought you might have it there." When Maple Taffy tries to push the responsibility elsewhere, the voice on the other side threatens to reduce the budget for the Relic Management Division.
He returns to Coffee Candy Cookie after. "Anyway, what dragon egg are you looking for? What type? Is it close to hatching? Dragon eggs are super rare... Can I see them?" When Coffee Candy finally explains the situation in detail, he shows her his collection.
"Ta-da! I don't usually show this to anyone, but these are dragon eggs I collected while traveling the world!" He has a Golden Dragon Egg, Red Dragon Egg, even a Violet one. They get sidetracked and bond over what they're passionate about and respecting each other, but she realizes she won't be able to find what she's looking for here. So she heads over to the Cookie Resources Division where Dark Fondue is.
"Can you tell me which Cookies work at the Time Disposal Site, I need to find the records before They end up there!" And unlike Maple Taffy, Dark Fondue produces results!
"There is the employee list for the Facility Management Division. I had to exclude any personal information that would go against our privacy policy. I hope you don't make my hard work go to waste."
Dark Fondue offers to help Coffee Candy Cookie sort through all the records to find what she's looking for. "There is nothing better than watching a hardworking Cookie eventually give up... The pile is still taller than you, Coffee Candy Cookie. Are you sure you'll be able to find it?"
"Don't worry! I'm sure I'll find it - I'm persistent when it comes to digging out information!" Coffee Candy states. The interaction continues as Dark Fondue belittles her, she brings up that everyone is busy with their own work so they might not even help her. When Coffee Candy Cookie reminds her of sincerity and how they are colleagues, Dark Fondue calls her naive and how she wouldn't be surprised if she quit.
"Sorry? I thought you trusted me wit the work and the files?" But Dark Fondue sighs and explains how she isn't worried since Baguette Cookie will probably take care of the problem in the end. She doesn't have a lot of faith in Coffee Candy, but is willing to provide her with what she needs.. This is when Coffee Candy Cookies finds it: "It's Marble Bread Cookie!! I should head to the Facility Management Division now!"
When String Gummy bursts into the office, demanding for Coffee Candy to come with him, Dark Fondue smiles to herself, "You can come out now, Baguette Cookie. I haven't had this much fun with a newcomer in a long time." Baguette Cookie urges her to stop teasing Coffee Candy, but Dark Fondue points out that she's merely testing her abilities. "Isn't it a virtue of the Time Registry Division to stay cool-headed and objective?"
Baguette admits that Coffee Candy Cookie doesn't fit that virtue, but that makes her different in a good way. "We are only Cookies" she states.
The Time Investigation Division as shown in this update.
String Gummy Cookie asks what she's been doing all this time, but immediately backs off. "I shouldn't be too quick to anger and try handling the situation like the Director." This is when Coffee Candy Cookie and String Gummy bond over his backstory while they check the CCTV recordings. String Gummy Cookie explains that he joined the Time Investigation Division because he thought that catching Cookies who mess with the timeline are the only thing he should be doing.
"At first, I was just following orders, but I later realized this was my passion." Coffee Candy points out that his description of the Director is different than how Croissant and Maple Taffy describe them, but that's when they notice the dragon egg disappear from the recording.
"Finally! I know how they did it...! They put the dragon egg inside a cake box! I'll go after them! You go and keep searching for the missing records and send them my way as soon as you find them!" So Croissant Cookie goes to the Facility Management Division to meet Marble Bread Cookie, the second cookie introduced in this update.
The Facility Management Division, where all the trash goes.
At first, Marble Bread Cookie hides from Coffee Candy, feeling lazy and not wanting to work. When Coffee Candy brings up the documents from the Time Registry Division, he asks why she'd want to find them since they're disposals. "I foolishly fell asleep on the job and lost an important piece of record..."
"I'm surprised someone like that exists in the TRD... The employees there are all known to be detail-oriented." He explains that the TRD files are confidential, so they have a special disposal site for that. Coffee Candy complains that it's so far away from another division, and Marble Bread agrees.
"That's exactly why I applied to work here... No one comes her,e so it's perfect for daydreaming in solitude..." He explains how he used to work in another division, but transferred here to do less work. But it still was a lot of work without any other Cookies.
To paraphrase, once things are ground up they are sucked into a time rift to be disposed. Coffee Candy Cookie goes into the equivalent of an airlock to retrieve what she believes is the paper. Marble Bread is urging her that it's too dangerous and that they should turn back, but that's when Baguette Cookie appears.
"Stop everything at once."
Now, like Mission! Save the Future, there is a choice. Unlike the last event, the choice changes the story's ending. You can choose to pick Coffee Coffee Candy Cookie's way, which puts her at risk but is commended by Baguette Cookie but also furious that she almost crumbled herself.
Alternatively, you could pick Baguette Cookie's Way, where Baguette Cookie states: "Both of you, wait outside. If I get sucked into a time rift, you two will need to take care of the rest. I will not let a newcomer do something so dangerous." Baguette Cookie gets the record, but presses an emergancy shut-off button that's between the door that even Marble Bread Cookie didn't know about.
Whether you choose Baguette's Way or Coffee Candy's way, the file is retrieved and everyone is okay.
Baguette Cookie and Coffee Candy Cookie walking back to the Time Registry Division together.
"This was a fault in the machine system. ... I noticed there was no system to filter important data in case someone had made a mistake. So I have been going round different divisions since this morning to have it fixed. Seeing that even the Cookie in charge didn't know about the button, the problem is clearer now."
"Coffee Candy Cookie. I did not call you over to make you apologize," Baguette continues, "When you go back, write up a report of what happened today and send it to me. Yes, you have made a mistake, however how you saw and approached this problem is more important to me. You exceeded the expectations I had when I first hired you."
"Really?" Coffee Candy asks, "But... I made so many mistakes..."
"The most memorable part of your resume is that you never gave up, no matter how many problems you faced." Baguette comforts Coffee Candy Cookie, letting her know that she got the job done and that's all that matters. She even admits to being like Coffee Candy Cookie when she first began, to Coffee Candy's disbelief.
Work continues between them, having a mutual respect for one another no matter which option you choose.

Thank you so much for reading my post! This was a lot to get through, especially since this acted as an expansion of the TBD.
I'm had Timekeeper wasn't in this update, but hey... We're getting her in Kingdom soon, right?
Read the Recaps here!
Part 1: Operation Timeguard
Part 2: Mission! Save the Future
Part 3: (You're here!)
Part 4: (Coming soon!)
This current post will be going over: Mission! Save the Future!
If you're interested in reading it yourself, I'm getting all the information from cookierun.wiki!
With that being said, let's continue the story!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
String Gummy Cookie emerging from a portal to the future, the first cutscene to this event.
Mission! Save the Future! is the continuation of the Time Balance Department's story. We're not sure how much time(?) has passed since the previous event in-world, but things still follow the status quo of Croissant Cookie being a mechanic and Timekeeper being the Director. However, we're introduced to a new cookie in the form of String Gummy Cookie.
The event begins with Croissant Cookie showing off her new invention to Timekeeper Cookie: Time Manipulators! Timekeeper claims to have been watching her all morning, "You would have noticed if you looked up from that schematic once in a while."
These little gadgets were made so everyone in the Time Balance Department (TBD) could go through time to their liking without the training of using a Timecraft. "Now we can have more Cookies keeping the balance of time!" is Croissant's original plan, but her and a random worker are interrupted by a portal opening next to them with a strange cookie emerging. "I found you quicker than expected. Croissant Cookie! Hand over your Time Manipulator, right now!"
String Gummy points his rifle at her while she's baffled, "How did you travel in time without a Timecraft?!" (Gee, I wonder how). She doesn't recognize him, so he introduces himself, "I'm here to fix the future you ruined! All because of the Time Manipulators you created. I'm here on order of the Director to destroy them."
"There has to be some kind of misunderstanding!" Croissant Cookie says, "Timekeeper Cookie watched me create this!" However, String Gummy doesn't comply. When Croissant Cookie urges him that they're for the TBD, he says, "I already knew, but you're as stubborn as always with what you believe in." He then goes off to destroy more Time Manipulators.
A lot of this event is about chasing String Gummy Cookie around the TBD while he snatches Time Manipulators from workers who were already given one - workers who are relieved that it will make their jobs easier and one particular cookie who was talking about abusing the power for their own needs, like to go back in time before their favorite shop closed just an hour beforehand. I apologize in advance if this story is jumping around a lot!
A machine room in the TBD and where the next scenes take place.
Croissant Cookie sounds the alarm before going to find Timekeeper, who's just floating about in the machine room. She tells Timekeeper about String Gummy and how he came from the future to destroy the manipulators, but what she says shakes Croissant, "Has it not occurred to you that I already know about this?"
"Then why didn't you do anything?" to Timekeeper's reply, "Let him run around and break things. That is what String Gummy Cookie has to do, after all." This is until she hears String Gummy around the corner. He states, "I have to stop anything that could cause problems in the future. That's why I've come here." He mentions the Director teaching him how to handle these tasks and where to go, but when Croissant Cookie brought up Timekeeper, he tenses up.
"Now why would someone like myself do something as boring as that?" Timekeeper says, her timing impeccable as always. Croissant notices the tension, "Why are you staring at Timekeeper Cookie like that? Do you two really know each other?" While Timekeeper dances around the question with another cryptic quip, String Gummy isn't having it.
"If it wasn't for you, this wouldn't have gone this far! You irresponsible...!" And he goes off again.
String Gummy Cookie comes and goes while Croissant asks a passerby if they've seen a Cookie with a long gummy stick rifle. The worker says he was headed to the Director's office. When Croissant seems relieved at first, since no one can get in without the key, the worker adds "He had the key!"
"What? But I'm the only one who's supposed to have a key...?" Croissant reasons, "But the key is safe in my pocket... That means... Time Keeper Cookie, come out right now!"
"You rang?" (my lord I love her- sorry, sorry)
"Did you open the door for String Gummy Cookie?" Timekeeper shuts down this idea, but inspires Croissant Cookie to think about it for a moment. "To give you a hint, you hold the ONLY key to that office." So, Croissant goes to the Director's office to confront String Gummy again.
"The Director said Timekeeper Cookie kept important things in the innermost drawer." String Gummy says before Croissant enters the room, "How did you find the Time Manipulator so fast!?" To which String Gummy Cookie says that the Director told him the location of it.
"Are you sure it is me that is the Director? Did I not tell you that there is not just one single future?" Timekeeper says as she enters as well. Croissant can't wrap her head around the logic of it, asking who else the director could be if not TKC, that's when String Gummy snaps: "Don't you dare compare the Director with Timekeeper Cookie. The Director is an outstanding Cookie, someone you can't compare to a Cookie who just plays around with time."
When Croissant follows up with the idea of the Director being the one taking responsibility for the timeline, String Gummy says that's what his Director told him. Croissant Cookie follows up with, "How does a regular Engineer like me end up ruining the timeline?"
"... It's not your fault in this timeline." String Gummy responds, leaving to find more Time Manipulator Devices.
Croissant Cookie tries to figure out where String Gummy will end up next. Central Clock Tower, maybe the entrance, before she reasons that he'd want to destroy the schematics in the Maintenance Station. She's right and she finds him there. She pleads with him this time, understanding that he wants to change the future and requests to help him without destroying the Time Manipulators.
"It's no use. I can fix my future, but I can't change it. ... The Director said that you would help us if you listened, when I had finished destroying all the devices, but I'm not so sure myself." Croissant Cookie becomes fed up at this point and demands answers. So String Gummy Cookie drops a bombshell of an answer: "The Director in the future... is you, Croissant Cookie."
"I'm the Director...? Not Timekeeper Cookie? Impossible... But I want to become the greatest mechanic ever..." String Gummy supports this statement, saying the Director used to say that too. That's when Croissant Cookie sees one final Time Manipulator in his pocket. "There's no way I'm letting him walk away like this!!!"
Another chase ensues while he demands her to give it back, but she hits a dead end. She tries to find a way out of this, before coming to a realization: "No one should meddle with the timeline that easily!" He finds her before claiming he doesn't have any choice anymore. He destroys the last one.
"The Director's order was to destroy all Time Manipulators. I was going to destroy it after returning but... I thought it'd be better for the Director if I destroyed it here and now." This is when he begins telling Croissant Cookie of what the future became with all the Time Manipulators:
The Time Balance Department of the Future, broken and orderless.
"When Time Manipulators became available for all TBD employees, they started to change time for their own good. They were well aware [of the rules]. They just didn't know of the consequences. It was all just the little things like going back to the past to eat Jellies or traveling to the future to check the weather. But regardless, every time a Time Manipulator was used, it created an unexpected branch in time."
Croissant says she doesn't blame those Cookies, as the idea just dawned on herself to do so. String Gummy continues:
"After taking office, the Director banned all Time Manipulators, but it was too late. Eventually, even the control system broke. So, the Director had to destroy the central clock. She sent me here because she's overwhelmed enough by managing the convoluted timelines."
When Croissant Cookie begins to feel guilty, he says "Don't blame yourself. You wouldn't have done it if you knew what was going to happen." But this is when Croissant Cookie comes up with an idea. She tells him that they should go to the Clock Square.
The Clock Square, as shown in-game.
"If we cut off the control system inside the central clock, it should become impossible to travel across timelines!" When String Gummy tells her that he doesn't know how to get inside, she continues "Probably because... Timekeeper Cookie modified the clock, so only I could open it!"
String Gummy finally apologizes for how brash he came into this mission, but all he cares about at this point is that it is completed. He admits that the Director saved him, otherwise he would be stuck in a time pocket. Croissant Cookie is surprised by this, "I heard that if a Cookie falls into a time pocket, all of their timelines disappear..."
While she continues working, she asks String Gummy about the Timekeeper of his timeline, and it comes as a bit of a hard topic. "I've never actually spoken to her. That Cookie voluntarily went into a time pocket. It was not long after the Director took office when I got out of the time pocket."
"Timekeeper Cookie had to witness herself disappear from every timeline they cut created by the Time Manipulator. Having to watch herself vanish repeatedly, she eventually just gave up on everything. She said all Cookies are small and weak, and that the TBD is meaningless. She then isolated herself in a time pocket."
"Now, now! It's not your fault either!" Timekeeper begins behind Croissant Cookie, "It was just hard for me to watch everyone disappear repeatedly." When Croissant Cookie asked why Timekeeper didn't stop her, she says that it would just make another timeline. When Croissant Cookie asks for further advice in changing the future, Timekeeper says: "Who knows? You tell me! It is all up to you, and why I am leaving you to become the Director one day."
There's one wire left and cutting it would gradually close up the future's timeline. When she does cut it, everything begins to shake as the surroundings blink between the future (broken) and present (fixed). The employees are freaking out and Croissant claims it's worse than she imagined.
"Finally, it's over. The future is safe now." String Gummy says, "Although...I won't be able to witness it myself." All the Time Manipulators are gone, after all. But that's when Croissant has an idea. "You can take my Timecraft!" He's worried about it changing the future, but she ushers him to go, "You want to see the Director again, don't you?"
This is when the player is given a choice. To have String Gummy go back to his timeline or to stay in the current timeline. This choice doesn't change the story ultimately, but it results in different dialogue. For the sake of this retelling, he uses the Timecraft to go back.
The Director's Office in the Broken Future
"Director!!!" Director Croissant Cookie looks up from her desk in surprise, "I successfully completed my mission." Croissant is surprised... "How did you come back?" When he explains what her past-self had done, she chuckles, "I never thought my past self would lend you that..."
"Director, you don't seem happy. Is there something wrong?" Director Croissant Cookie first congratulates him on completing the mission, "It would have been better if you had just stayed there... This is my final order. Take the Timecraft and go back to the past. There is no use for you to be here as I'll be gone soon."
He's taken back by this, but she explains "This timeline is soon going to disappear. No future can exist without a past. Meaning I'll also be gone soon... I'm glad it's all over before it affected other timelines."
String Gummy won't disappear with her, though, because he's not native to that timeline after he fell into a time pocket, "Since your past disappeared, I thought it's be better to take you with me instead of bringing you back to where you were. But now, there is better than here."
"Can't you come with me?" He asks, but she declines. "A director must take responsibility for the timeline!"
"Thank you... for everything you've done, String Gummy Cookie..."
Ultimately, String Gummy goes back and explains what happened. Croissant Cookie tries to comfort him, saying she bet she was very happy she could at least say goodbye to him.
"Really...?" He asks, "Of course! I, Croissant Cookie, guarantee it!"

Welcome to the end of the post! Thank you so much for reading through this as it took a lot of time to transcribe this!
As stated, this is part 2 of 4 posts. You can find my next post (here) when I finally make it. You can also read Part 1 "Operation Timeguard" (Here)!
One thing I wanted to bring up really quick is the fact that Croissant Cookie in her Kingdom Design has the same yellow-orange as she does in her Director of the TBD uniform! Many have noticed this already, but in case you haven't.. here you go!
Croissant Cookie's Kingdom design
Nothing is set in stone about her story in Kingdom yet, but it's worth mentioning!

With that being said, let's get to the wall of text!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
First scene of Croissant Cookie (Operation Timeguard)
Operation Timeguard is the first chronicle in this story, introducing Croissant Cookie and the Time Balance Department (TBD). It also takes place during the 4th Anniversary of Cookie Run Ovenbreak. This follows Gingerbrave alongside Croissant Cookie going through the timeline in order to fix errors in the timeline, specifically Gingerbrave's past.
It should be stated that with every game, Gingerbrave's story is a little different. However, this event features the old version of GB's story with a currently unused cookie: Skater Cookie.
Gingerbrave and his friends (Gingerbright, Strawberry, Skater, and Zombie Cookie) are aboard a train in search for a place to call home after escaping the Witch's House and the oven. Upon exiting, they're meet with immediate hostility from the TBD, who were strangers to them.
Gingerbrave & Friends confronted by TBD
The TBD surrounds Gingerbrave & his friends as Croissant Cookie from around the corner ushers him to run. While his friends are captured, GB gets away with Croissant Cookie who explains that she's on his side. She introduces herself as an engineer of the TBD and its her responsibility to monitor and enforce the safety of the timeline.
Croissant Cookie says that Gingerbrave and his friends are being accused of messing up the timeline, which he obviously denies, but she agrees. She knows he isn't guilty because she saw them through a time rift, but says "The Director claims that you're guilty!"
The Director is built up as this mysterious person, someone that can ".. come and go to any point in time in a flash! No one doubts the Director..." Croissant invites Gingerbrave to come with her to seek out abnormalities in the timeline to find clues about the true culprit, revealing her Timecraft that allows her to open wormholes.
They go through many events of Gingerbrave's past, but with many different errors. The window being locked when it was previously open, a giant wave suddenly coming in and drowning Zombie Cookie, GB and his friends taking a wrong turn in a cavern.
After fixing the abnormalities and restoring the timeline to how it originally was, the timecraft encounters an error and begins to break down. A wormhole suddenly opens up in front of the timecraft. "Huh? A wormhole! But I didn't input any coordinates yet!?" That's when they finally meet the star of this story.
Inside the Time Rift, \"Inbetween Time\"
"These time coordinates... Even the TBD doesn't know about this... Who-"
"Enjoying time travel?" Timekeeper Cookie makes herself known. She introduces herself, explaining that "Were it not for me, you would have met a dire fate. Your Timecraft ins malfunctioning, no?"
Croissant Cookie questions her and asks if she was watching them, to which Timekeeper claims to LIVE in time. Croissant brings up the director and TBD, eventually figuring out that TKC can control time. Finding it amazing, but then begins to doubt her own ability.
"I need to help Gingerbrave rescue his friends and find who is responsible for messing up the timeline. But I'm not strong enough..."
"Will I become as strong as you one day?" to which Timekeeper replies, "Guaranteed. I will tell you exactly how to become like me." However, Gingerbrave shoos TKC away, saying that "Power isn't the answer to everything."
Timekeeper backs off and bids farewell. Croissant and GB continue to fix the timeline. More shenanigans ensue in the original GB tale, until it is ultimately revealed through more dialogue that Timekeeper is indeed the Director of the TBD. Timekeeper ushers Croissant to become like her while she says, "Gingerbrave and his friends must be declared guilty beyond any doubt. In time, you will become aware of my intentions." and takes her leave.
After the final set of errors in the timeline just before we get to present day, Croissant ushers Gingerbrave to stay hidden in the time rift. This isn't before Croissant questions how Timekeeper can know about the intricate mechanics of her own Timecraft, being her own creation and her being "the only cookie who has ever created a custom time machine like my Timecraft."
At this point, we're being spoon-fed that Croissant Cookie and Timekeeper Cookie are one in the same.
Croissant Cookie goes to fix the final error in the timeline that goes back to the train sequence at the beginning of this story, fixing it successfully until she realizes she's lost track of Gingerbrave in the Timerift (he was wearing goggles with like a tracking device? Not important). Timekeeper is the one who kidnapped him.
Croissant Cookie tracks Gingerbrave back to the TBD. After sneaking past all the guards, she confronts Timekeeper Cookie who offers her a deal. "Let us make a bargain. Defeat me and they go free. Lose and you must listen to ME!" to which Croissant accepts. "I'm going to change the timeline so that you will never become the Director of the TBD!"
This surprises Timekeeper for the first time, but find this amusing. They both disappear into the timerift before coming back seconds later. Croissant explains that they went back in time to when Timekeeper first joined the TBD, but couldn't do it. "You looked so happy. I... I couldn't do it. ...Because I remember.... No... I know how happy that moment in time was."
Croissant finally accepts Timekeeper's deal but with a catch. "But I'm not going to be like you! Instead of becoming Director, I'm going to continue being a great mechanic! ... Out of all our alter egos... I was the only one to join TBD! Because it was MY choice!"
Timekeeper proclaims over the TBD intercom that Gingerbrave and his friends are innocent and they are free to go.

As stated, this is part 1 of 4 posts. You can find my next post (here) when I finally make it.
Overall, this is an older story that is due for a recreation. There's a lot of outdated information in here that doesn't line up to current events, but knowing Timekeeper, she edited the timeline to make it work. Speaking of, Timekeeper on Reddit if you're reading this, how'd I do? Did I get across your sassiness enough?
Thank you very much for reading my post! Have a wonderful day!
