Why are all spider monster four-legged?

Nerscylla, Rakna Kadaki, Lala Barina...

I long for spider monsters like Gohma from Zelda Twilight princess, for example.

Some true spider monsters.

I cancel plans last minute, disappointing friends

I have this problem where I cancel plans last minute, because I either feel uncomfortable or simply lack motivation to either hang out with friends or family members. At this point it bothers me a lot, because I realize I'm an unreliable friend and I want to do better.

It's just... whenever someone asks me to hang out together, I want to truly hang out with them, but when the day approaches, I start to feel anxious or nervous.

This results in me constructing lies (examples: I got sick, I have an important appointment, etc), just so I can get out of the situation. I don't want to be this way and I am losing friends as well, which is pretty understandable for them, I see that.

I need any advice on how I can better myself. It just can't go on like that.

We are not angry enough over mixpacking and megapacking. The devs should feel forced to make this a priority.

Another rant post, hurray.

Megapacking and mixpacking is an ongoing issue for years now and it drives lots of players away. I both love and hate this game and I can't put it away, even though it fucks me up more often than I can count.

Playing solo has always been a disadvantage, but it's getting worse and worse as the days go by. The devs are not fixing it and I feel like they don't care. But if more and more people are loud about the issues they feel forced to address megapacking and mixpacking more aggressively.

TLCs are good and all, but it's all the devs focus on for more than 3 years, instead of fixing more important issues, like late game and actual in-game mechanics.

I feel like the main reason why people gather at hotspots and focus on ganging up on solo players with their slop groups is because there is simply NOTHING else to do once you become adult. You can quest for marks, but that's about it. It feels repetitive and boring, so people want to socialize, as it's the only interesting thing to do.

A way to combat the boredom would be for the devs to introduce sickness/illnesses, a more complex diet system and flooding or general weather improvements that have actual effects on the survivability. Hide collectable trophies or collectables in general at caves or secret spots, to reward players for roaming around and exploring the maps.

While all of this won't wipe out mixpacking and megapacking, I'm sure it will reduce it overall.

So about Amber Isle...

I got the game for 35€ on a local shop and I was thrilled that the game I was curious about a year ago finally released on switch.

So I played it for an hour and all I gotta say is that I'm pretty disappointed and wonder how they could release it in this current state. The player model's head floats over the body a bit and isn't connected properly to the body, the eyes clip through the cheeks occasionally.

There are loading screens everywhere and the game sort of feels very unpolished.

Clipping issue?

I just got the game, but it feels a bit wonky and the graphic isn't that good on Nintendo Switch 2. The eyeballs clip through the cheeks and the textures are very blurry.

I hope the switch version will receive updates soon.

We need cooldown timers visible in an ability description BEFORE unlocking said ability

It annoys me to no end when I find a new ability I want to equip with no information on it on how long the cooldown time is. I've replaced fast hitting attacks with something I thought had a similar cooldown, but it leaves me vulnerable if I can't attack for 5 or 6 seconds straight. Especially when I want to facetank something.

Every mmo I can think of has visible cooldown times shown in the description of an ability. I don't get why after 5 years of development the Devs haven't implemented it yet.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

My baby Allo and I were carrying trophies back to the homecave when this happened.

"Group has disbanded" broke me.

[complaint] Megalanias should not be able to outrun an Alioramus

I was heading to my homecave when I saw two Megs sprinting at me. I was thinking: "Fine. I will just outrun them."

But they kept following me. My stamina was running out and they still sprinted at me and did their lunge attack to catch up.

I honestly don't think a massive lizard like Meg should be able to outrun a long legged tier 2 playable that was made to be the fastest dino.

Is my complaint justified, or am I just salty?

Bestellung wurde storniert, obwohl ich bezahlt habe? (DrABC)

I barely see any Alios, so I decided to play it today. I'm upset Alderon didn't give it any cool purchable skins yet, except for the one from a skin pack I've missed...
