Voicemeter wireless headphone dissconnected after its turned off.

Hello, I have 2 output audio devices, on Hardware out A1, is my Wireless Headphone from steelseries, and on A2 it is my speaker.

When I turn off the power of my headphone from Headphone's inbuilt power button it disconnects from voicemeter after some minutes (around 5-15 min) and blinks red and I can no longer hear on A2(speaker) as well , I have to remove the audio out A1 or reselect my A1 again to be able to hear on A2.

Any solution?

Opening a Game Zone in Kathmandu?

One of my friend from Baneshwor is willing to Open a Gamezone somewhere in Kathmandu, He shared the idea with me as I am involved in Gaming business.

I told him this PC Gamezone / Cyber Cafes business a dead business, Gamezones can no longer make profits in Nepal. But he is willing to start it anyways.

What do you guys think? Is this still profitable when you Invest 40-50Lakhs add 10 Gaming PCs, Around 5 PS5s? and monthly rent ?

I will make him read all of yourr comments as well.

Organize PUBG Mobile Tournament!

Hello everyone, I am Pradip founder of Wiser Esports. We have been working in the PUBG Mobile scene as Tournament Production Company since a very long time now. I wanted to share my experience with organizing, producing online and offline PUBG Mobile Tournaments like PMNC, and PMGO.

1. The Foundation: Schedule & Venue

  • Lock the Schedule First: Everything (talent booking, venue rental duration, bandwidth) cascades from your tournament format and broadcast hours. Never change it mid-planning.
  • Always Go Indoor: Outdoor venues introduce chaotic variables (weather, lighting, noise). Indoor spaces give you a massive head start with built-in AC and power rigs.
  • Competitive Integrity: Place all audience-facing LED screens completely out of the players' sightlines so they can't sneak a peek at enemy positions or kill feeds. Spacing between team tables must also prevent screen-peeking and audio leaks.

2. Network & Internet (The Make-or-Break Element)

>

  • Internal Testing is a Trap: Testing with a small staff doesn't replicate 64+ players, production crews, and observers hammering the network all at once. Always run a full dry run with competing teams 48–72 hours before day one.
  • Isolate Your Lines: You need at least three separate internet connections: one for players (low latency), one for production/broadcast, and one for guest Wi-Fi.
  • Redundancy: Always use at least two different ISPs with automatic failover configured so the stream doesn't drop if one provider fails.

3. Power & Cable Management

  • Dedicated Circuits: Give each team table its own power socket. Shared circuits lead to tripped breakers.
  • Backup Infrastructure: Use UPS units for critical gear (servers, production PCs) and heavy-duty generators for high-stakes events.
  • Label Everything: Label both ends of every single cable. When something breaks mid-broadcast, you don't want to spend 10 minutes tracing wires.

4. Production & On-Air Talent

  • Observer Skill is King: In Battle Royales, a bad observer means a bad broadcast. Invest heavily in skilled PUBG Mobile observers who know how to anticipate rotations and gunfights.
  • The Power of Talkback (Comms/IFB): Every caster, host, and analyst must be connected to the Show Director via an internal communication mic. Without it, talent is flying blind, and you risk embarrassing transitions where casters are talking over commercial breaks.

5. Administration & Contingencies

  • Dedicated Servers: Work with Krafton or regional reps to get a dedicated custom room server geographically close to your venue. Avoid public servers to prevent ping spikes.
  • Accreditation: Color-code badges to strictly separate player areas from production and media zones.
  • Have Plan B & C: Expect things to go wrong. Have pre-defined protocols and spare hardware ready for instant swaps when a device crashes or a peripheral fails.

ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 Vs GoStream Duet 8 ISO

Hello! I run an esports production business, and I am looking to upgrade to a video switcher.

Since I will be capturing computer screens frequently, I need a highly reliable unit. I am aware that Blackmagic ATEM switchers are the industry standard, but has anyone here used the Osee GoStream Duet 8 ISO? Would you recommend it for my workflow?

I usually run a 5-hour show every day.

My specific questions are:

  1. How does the video quality of the GoStream Duet 8 ISO compare to the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2?
  2. Is the GoStream Duet 8 ISO reliable enough for long, daily broadcasts?

Thanks in advance!
