/Unjerk. Hey guys. This is my third and final post on this topic. Myself and two other members here are trying to get a little meetup together for anime expo in Los Angeles.
For those who don't know, Anime Expo is one of the largest anime conventions in America, visited by many every year. This year some top panels include Witch Hat Atelier cast, Type Moon Panel and the cyberpunk edge runners announcement and potential screening.
If you are going to the convention we would love to see you. The meetup will be on Friday, the 3rd in the morning. I have set up a little discord server for coordination. Adults only and somewhat tolerable social skills please.

Some of you may have the misfortune to be aware of me, the Taiga Foot Enthusiast (although I regret to inform you all it is just a meme...). I will be attending Anime Expo in Los Angeles this year, and was curious if anyone from here wanted to grab dinner, or just chat a bit if they are going. I just recently finished the series for the first time, being completely blind (somehow despite the series being out for years now).
I gotta say, it was crazy, definitely one of the twistiest shows I have seen. It really reminded of Westworld, in a lot of ways.
I also know that the series had a lot of divisive points over it's history, and a lot of theories. While I was watching it (with a friend who has read the manga and seen the show several times) I definitely did a lot of theorizing of my own. My first guess, during season one, was that it was all some kind of experiment, being overseen by some council, similar to Maze Runner.
I had a lot of other changing theories, but the twist that the world was basically, just fine, outside the walls never remotely occured to me.
What were the biggest theories back in the day, at various stages of release. From theorizing about what was outside the wall, to the founder powers, to Ymir, etc? I am very curious about the evolution of this.
What were your personal theories that ended up being right, or wrong?
