I'm just wondering, because that is the lock that came with my TL-30 safe and I'm wondering how secure it actually is or if I should upgrade it to a Group 1 like the 8850. Can it really resist expert manipulation for 2 hours like they claim it does?
Accidentally added my own email under witness email and now it won't let me leave that section blank if I try to delete it. What to do?
So, I updated my email address on the api.rk.tsp.gov site a couple a weeks ago but it still shows my old email in the oam.tsp.gov page. If I try resetting my password, it still sends the reset emails to the old email shown in the OAM page instead of the new one shown on the api.rk.tsp.gov site. Is there some kind of a trick to getting it to update in the OAM or does it just take a long time?
Should mention, I had an issue with this before when trying to update my email address, and somehow, I eventually got it to update on the OAM page. But I have no idea how I did it.
Long story short, a few years back I filed a grievance in my workplace and gave my local union steward a form that we're required to give them anytime we file a grievance. The form had my SSN on it, which I blacked out by going over it with a sharpie about 10 times. I tested it under various angles and lighting to make sure it wasn't readable, and it wasn't to my eye.
I'm worried now because I read about how black sharpie isn't a secure method of redacting sensitive information (I should've known better and at least made a copy of the sharpie'd version) and that certain scanning software could still be able to read it.
To be clear, no identity theft has happened to me since then. But I just worry that my sharpied-out SSN could be sitting in a file cabinet somewhere waiting to be exposed by a rogue union member with the right tools. Can someone put my mind at ease?
