Electrician

Why is it hard for my boyfriend to get an apprentice job? He has two years experience as an electrician, we applied job after job here in the cities and he hasn’t heard back from anyone. We feel discouraged, idk if its him or if jobs are slow right now:/ Maybe bad timing since its summer and schools coming up idkk

Couple moving, should we consider?

My bf and I live in ND. He hates it here and has been wanting to move to the cities since we’ve been here. He’s an electrician with 2 year experience, i have no job history or my GED. Im not too excited cause it does NOT look to go for me. Rent is expensive, itll be harder for me to get a job, more people, and we only pay $800 for our apartment. My bf is around these people more than i am cause he’s in service and he says people here are just AWFUL and it’s affecting his mental health. We also have a 4 year old so we just stick to ourselves. We aren’t into politics we aren’t blue or red we just want to be in a good environment. What do you guys think?

My boyfriend is treated poorly

My boyfriend is honestly one of the sweetest people I know. He is never rude or disrespectful to anyone. He doesn’t always have a filter, though, so if someone disrespects him, he will call it out. He’s the type of person who will stand up for himself if he feels like someone has crossed a line.
Lately, I’ve started noticing that he seems to be treated poorly by a lot of people, and it’s starting to feel strange. I had my friend over for drinks, and she was extremely rude to him. She would tell him what to do, ignore him, and wouldn’t share her weed pen with him, but she would only share it with me. Meanwhile, he bought two bottles for her, and I even offered her some of my weed.
Then there was another situation where he got punched by a coworker over $40. At work, he feels like he’s constantly being belittled by someone, and even his own parents have treated him badly by putting him in jail over smoking weed.
I don’t know if he’s somehow attracting these situations or if it’s just a pattern of people taking advantage of him, but I’m struggling to understand it because I don’t experience these things myself. Is this something that’s common for men, or is there something else going on?

PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY EAR PAIN I REALLY NEED HELP AND READ TIL THE END!!

Anyone remember when we all got influenza A back in January 2025 well one of my symptoms never went away! I still have ear pains, headache and CHRONIC fatigue. Ive been to urgent care 3 times!! They said nothing was wrong with my ears they prescribed me this steroid pill i forget the name its supposed to help with inflammation that didn’t help they had me try Zyrtec its a antihistamines its for allergies its helped so much i wouldn’t survive without so that leads to my ENT Dr. thinking its allergies causing my ear pain and fatigue he requested a blood drawn to see if i have allergies since he said with everything looking normal he cant think of anything else now before getting a CAT scan which is my next step cause nothing seems to be working and i don’t solely want to rely on pills to feel okay what can i do and has anyone experienced this???😣

Quitting before my 2 week notice😬

Ive worked at DairyQueen as a assistant manager for a year i got offered a new position at Menards starting at $18.50 FT. Anyway i put in my two weeks 4 days in and i quit…. I told them i no longer work for them someone is going to have to cover the rest of my shift for the week thank you i wish you the best. So now my boyfriend is telling me that was a bad idea because now i cant use them as a reference and my resume is ruined and that 1 year experience i did was for nothing and went down the drain but honestly who checks references now a days?
